Complaint: ***I am rejecting this response because:It is my belief that the problem was known by the dealer at the time of sale and concealed in order to make that saleAnyone spending that much money would have the expectation of a road worthy vehicleSincerely, *** ***

Revdex.com RE : Claim ID [redacted]
Our 2008 Subaru Legacy was in Excellent condition. The Car Ran & drove perfect while in our inventory I personally put about 60 miles on it. [redacted] was offered a test drive where she & her male friend who I was in the car...
business went on a test drive by themselves & were gone over 20 minutes. After the test drive no mention was made of any mechanical issues..She Made mention it was a 2hr car ride to get home .About 3hrs after the Sale I received a voicemale from a gentleman who claims to be the son telling me that he had to take moms new car for a spin & that the car makes engine noise @ mid to high rpms.
Then an hour later [redacted] calls to let me know the car has engine issues. I told her she should talk to her son. The 2008 Legacy was Sold AS/IS with the right to an implied warranty was waived.
Please see attached paper work.

Complaint: [redacted]I am rejecting this response because:
The car was indeed sold as is in so- called EXCELLENT condition. The vehicle started making small noise after the 2 hour drive at which time I had my son drive around the block with me. He wanted to hear the engine and took it to 4-5 RPM. Definitely not too high for a turbo car. The knocking became more prominent. My son then called the dealer on my behalf to relay the problem. I believe that the condition was concealed in order for it to not make the sound during a short test drive. I was told everything had been checked out and perfect condition. Since the dealer was a self proclaimed "Subaru Expert" he would know if there were engine problems and the vehicle should not have been sold. I have yet to be able to drive my car other than the ride home. A vehicle sold in excellent condition should last more that 2 hours.
Sincerely,[redacted]
