We were quite surprised to get this complaint as [redacted] has never discussed a request for a refund and has only discussed completing the process. In the 12+ years of providing this course, nobody has ever asked for a refund after taking the course. Services were provided as...

Two special dates were offered at our expense to complete the process required by the state for the students that were affected by this mishap that occurred in January of this year. [redacted] informed us by email she would be attending and continuing the process. We provided this extra training at our expense not charging the students. She missed the first opportunity and agreed to come to the second. She failed to attend again. We have worked with her over several months trying to complete the process she started. In addition to the two makeup dates that were offered, there have been 4 more opportunities for [redacted] to attend at no charge.
Recently, [redacted] contacted us by email and informed us she had changed her mind and would not be seeking the acquisition of her license as she could no longer afford to pay the license fee to the state. There have been several instances where one of our students decided not to pursue the license after taking the class. This is a personal decision. We have no control over what people decide to do after taking the course. We do not offer refunds to students that attend our classes and then change their mind about acquiring a license.

I am rejecting this response because:
I understand that there were additional classes being offered and I told the company that I would not be able to attend those make up classes as I had started a new job which is why I had signed up to get the class completed before I started this new job. I understand that they have offered additional classes for me which I am greatful for and I am not asking for a refund because "I changed my mind about getting my license" I am asking for a refund because I took the class and was not able to get my license because the company was not equipped at the time they gave me the class to help me complete that process. THAT is not my fault. I am also asking for a refund because that is what they told me was an option for me in the initial email when they explained that they were not certified to be teaching the class when they did.
I greatly enjoyed both of the owners and am no way bashing the company or them as individuals. I am just reaching out through different avenues because a refund was offered to me in an email and then when I respond stating that, that is what I would like to do it is now all my fault and now the company claims that they don't give refunds.

Excellent staff! They were very thoughtful, patient, and knowledgeable. I took a well organized and effective class. Content was thorough and well presented. Will definitely take another class from them!
