Mr. [redacted] was insistent he pick up his vehicle without rendering payment which is against CF Collision policy. Mr. [redacted]s insurance company advised they were paying Mr. [redacted] directly. We were able to get confirmation from USAA, Mr [redacted]'s insurance company, that they would...
reissue and guarantee payment directly to CF Collision. Mr. [redacted] was contacted and his vehicle was delivered to him on 6/9 at 2:00. We waived Mr [redacted]'s $250 deductible with our apologies that we apparently did not make it clear to him from the outset that vehicles are not released without payment for work done.
Initial Business Response /* (1000, 10, 2015/10/29) */
When this lock was installed Mr. [redacted] was informed there would be a 12 month warranty on labor and a 2 year warranty on the keypad, this was 18 months ago.
Since the original installation we have been out a number of times working on the...
locking mechanisms on his doors that were not supplied by us. When informed that the parts we were working on were not supplied by us and there would be a charge Mr. [redacted] refused to pay. This happened twice that we performed free work on parts not supplied by us.
When the keypad supplied by us stopped working we got a new one free of charge to Mr. [redacted].
When we showed up to install Mr.[redacted] was not there when he said he would be.
When our technician spoke to Mr. [redacted] on the phone he said he wouldnt pay for the installation (which was on a new door Mr. [redacted] just had installed).
At tha point the technician left the new keypad with [redacted] assistant as it was still under warranty but it was clear to us we would not be compensated for the installation of the keypad which was not under warranty. Im affraid we cannot and will not work for free as we did on 2 previous occasions.
Mr.[redacted] has been very difficult to work with over the last 18 months and We reserve the right to choose who we work for and will not under any circumstances be returning to [redacted] building or any other building.
