I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me The company came to repair the gate for the third time and the latch raises and lowers easily now and does not scratch the pole, like the THREE other gates and latches that were installed by this same company.

Each time this customer contacted us about the gate we responded and adjusted the gate 2 separate times. I personally went by after a 3rd complaint to find that the fork latch was rubbing the latch post a little. I adjusted the gate again. I sent the owner a message telling him I had been by the...

house and the gate was working fine. He contacted me again because he didn't want the latch to rub the post at all. I sent a crew by to remove the post and reset it so the latch wouldn't touch it at all. I have tried to contact the owner to follow up on the repair, but have not gotten an answer. The French drain they are talking about was right where they wanted a gate. We were told to  install the gate exactly where a pipe must have been. My crew says they were not aware of the pipe, otherwise they would have told me like they always do. When we are directed to install a fence in a particular spot the owner of the property assumes all responsibility for any underground lines or objects. This is clearly explained in our contract. I did not ignore an email about this. I never saw it. It was probably in a thread of messages that got missed. This was a decent size project and we really tried to accommodate the owners as much as we could. When we finished, everyone was happy. The warranty complaint is completely unjustified.
