We called [redacted] about replacing our garage door motor, the quote was fair and reasonable, they arrived on time and within short order everything was replaced and working properly, we were very impressed with the service, price and honesty. We would recommend them to anyone.
[redacted], the owner of A &R garage installed the garage door at my home prior to purchasing it. A few months later I had, and continue to have, an issue with the garage door. I have contacted [redacted] several times with a lack of follow up on all accounts. When I finally reached him weeks later, He made a verbal appointment with me; to which he did not show up for. Every time I call he declines my call sending me straight to voicemail. I am very displeased with his etiquette and customer service. On a side note, he also left a voicemail where I assume he forgot to hang up; leaving a voicemail with grammar suitable for sailors. My experience is this guy is unprofessional and does not keep his word.
Came out and looked at my door opener.. said it needed replacement, gave me two options on openers but didnt have the one I chose (more expensive option) with him. Said he would be back the next day. I had called to verify I was getting a key pad with my new opener to which [redacted] replied no, it was extra. I was already paying 345.00 for the new one and installation so I questioned that for that money that I should have a key pad. He said he would throw it in. I checked around and prices on new openers were roughly 200.00 with key pads. Anyway, he was supposed to be out to install it later that day. Never showed, never called. My husband and I both called and he never returned either of our calls. My husband left work early to get this taken care of so needless to say we wouldnt recommend this company
We were highly satisfied with their knowlege and professioalism when promptly repairing our garage door!!!
Broke it - didn't fix it and undependable.
I had a spring break on my door, called A&R to set up an appt. for the next day when I was off work. Ron offered to be there the same day but it didn't work for me. So the next day Ron came out and replaced the springs, and did it fast. I also asked if he could replace the rollers, again fast. He also made some adjustments at no charge and lubed up all items on the door. The door works great and is quiet as a mouse. Outstanding customer service and quality work, all at an affordable price. My mother and some friends are realtors, they all have his contact info. now. I will definitely use them in the future. Thanks again Ron.
I thought I had a problem with my garage door opener so I searched for a repair company through the [redacted]. A&R were very courteous, arrived promptly and correctly diagnosed the problem as worn bearings. My garage door opener was working perfectly. A&R charged a fair price and I will call them again if I experience any more problems. A lesson learned from this experience is--call someone who knows garage doors and garage door openers. A company limited to opener repairs would not have solved my problem. This is a great company.

I order a particular style of garage door over the phone. When the contractor arrived he brought the wrong style of door. While deciding whether to accept the different style I noticed that the back of the windows were not installed properly. There was huge gaps in the corners of the plastic framing. The contractor stated that this was how the doors all came. I refused to let him install the door and he charged me $165 restocking fee. I don't think I should have to pay when the door was not the one I ordered and it was defective.
