I met Antoine H on a online selling community site on 4/15.I was in need of a car.He was selling a 2010 Nissian Altima.I inquired about it and decided to meet him near his house in Union City.I brought with my cousin to ensure my safety. We met,I inspected the car and drove the car up and down the street and it appeared fine.It was no codes on the car, some dents on the body but nothing big.I noticed a light on the dash with an explanation point that looked like a warning sign.I asked him about it and he stated that it just meant the tires need to be replaced.I looked at the tires and they were bald so his statement rang true.I opened the trunk to make sure that it worked as well and it was an old part in there but I didnt think nothing of it.I didnt know what that part was.(it was a steering lock after doing my research)I agreed to purchase the car from him. Before I gave him any money,we went to an auction place to retrieve the title, and then proceeded to his house to finalize things. We signed the title, completed the bill of sale,I gave him $3000 and we left.I drove the car home and park it until I got insurance and the correct tags.On 4/16 I put insurance on the vehicle so it would make it easier for me to go to the tag office and register it.On 4/29 I contacted him stating that I couldnt get a tag and he said because he is a dealer, it will take a 30days.I went to tag office on 5/3 received a temp tag which expires 6/1.I contacted him on 5/3 to let him know that the car wouldnt start.I bought a new battery. It was saying key.He said he will call his mechanic and call me back.I called him again on 5/17 when I returned from work,he stated he was out of town.He never reached out to me once!I contacted him numerous times and no response. On 5/27,I had enough and told him I see what was done to the car and I want my money back.its faulty!6/1 tag expired.6/2 I spoke to his wife and she said she rather go to court. She cant give me my money back even tho the car stopped 3 weeks after purchase.

Refund I want my money back. The car is faulty and I believe he knew the entire time!I am out $3000 plus $140 for the new battery and $10 for the FOB battery.Ive wasted a lot of time and gas going back and forth to the tag office only to be turned away because the "dealer"didnt complete was was needed.I did an oil change and tune up on the car, only for it to not work in 21 days later.I purchased another vehicle that im satisfied with and I want my money back from this horrible sale.thank you
