This company is very reliable, affordable and can be highly recommendThe clean up was done professionally nothing was left undoneI will be using this company againThanks A Molly for all your hard work!! From the Graine family

I would recommend this company for repairing water damage caused from a leaky roof which resulted in paint peeling in my living room ceiling An estimator came out to view the damage, and worked with me to set a date to start the work The original estimate was for 1-days They were able to complete the job within hours! This was from setting up to clean up Very happy with the job they did

This note is in response to the complaint registered by Mr. [redacted] Member had a water loss which was successfully mitigated and completed by [redacted] Co. on 4/4/2014. Member had damage to the exterior of his home which was outside...

his covered insurance loss.  These repairs were completed on 5/6/2014 A repair estimate was created and was approved by customer’s insurance company on 5/10/2014. On 5/6/2014 Member requested work estimates for additional work outside his covered loss.During review of his project an error was detected and it was necessary to make revisions and re-submit to his insurance company. On 5/22/2014  A discussion was had with the customer regarding his wishes for extra work in his home. It was discussed that the work he was requesting in his foyer entry was not advisable due existing structural issues. He was also unhappy with the scope of his insurance loss repairs and felt he was entitled to more work than was estimated for.  His flooring loss consisted of approximately 15sf of carpet on an entry landing, to which he was expecting his entire apartment to be redone (over 1000sf). He was requested to call his insurance company to discuss the inclusion of this additional work into his repairs.  This is regular and customary in such situations. We had also provided a start date of 6/4/2014 to proceed with interior repairs prior to resolution of his issues as he felt his project had been excessively delayed. Extra work estimate detailing scope and costs was also provided to the customer at this time. Although the customer felt that his ceiling should have been included in his repairs, the insurance company only pays for direct physical damage. Unfortunately, his ceiling was not affected from his window leak and therefore, he was not entitled to this repair.  His apartment layout is an open condo design with all levels exposed from 8’ to 18’ in ceiling height. The unit is packed with personal affects and it is extremely difficult to walk inside let alone move about with scaffolding and ladders. The cost of the ceiling repair would require 2 men for 2 days to set up/take down scaffolding (in addition to the existing charges already in his estimate), detach lights, fans, air ducts etc. and continually shuffle and cover his contents throughout the duration of repairs. Charges also increase with the height of repairs. On 5/26/2014 a call was made to the customer to see if his issues with his insurance carrier had been resolved. He said no, and that he was becoming frustrated with the entire process.Being that this customer was becoming frustrated, coupled with the fact that his project manager was going to be away during a portion of his repairs, a postponement of repair was suggested if any issues were to develop during his absence. This we feel may have precipitated his complaint to the Revdex.com. We tale our Revdex.com A+ rating very seriously and have many, many satisfied customers.  We are still willing and able to take care of this customer and resolve any outstanding issues presented.  We are willing to adjust our painting estimate to what is comfortable and acceptable to this customer.  [redacted] provides a 5yr warranty on our work which is 2yrs longer than what his insurance company requires.I can be reached at 973-518-2405 with any further questions or concerns.

Review: Had water damage on 3/30 over a flat and stairwell. [redacted] came on 4/1 and did a great job with water mitigation. They gave a quote to do all repairs, which included painting all continuous walls but not the ceiling which is same color and some points are slanted into the wall appearing to be continuous. On quote for replacing the carpet, again they did not quote all continuous needs. Was told it’s not an important area that coloring difference will matter and that insurance wouldn’t cover full replacement.

[redacted]’s quote for painting the ceiling was $1,500 which is absurd! Explanation for the high price is due to having to manage scaffolding and laying out tarp, which was included in the quote to paint the walls anyway.

We weren’t too concerned with the carpet since we were thinking of tiling the area of damage until we got [redacted]'s quote, and therefore decided to stay with replacing the carpet. I spoke with the insurance adjuster who said all the carpet should be included and he never told [redacted] it wasn’t.

Communication on when repairs would be made was beyond difficult. They were completely indifferent to the urgency & disruption of having a hole in the wall w/ all insulation being removed, loss of energy, and having the carpet ripped up with staples and crooked floor boards sticking out. After multiple calls, I finally got in touch with the receptionist on 5/21. On 5/23 [redacted]’s rep finally set a date to paint the walls two weeks out on 6/4. [redacted]’s rep called me on 5/28 to tell me that he needs to push our job out another week to 6/9. After telling him how frustrated I was, he said he will see if he can do it on 6/2.

I got in touch with my insurance adjuster who told me our insurance would cover all claims relating to the carpet and painting and that I am being more than fair. He advised to go with another contractor since there are so many issues with [redacted].Desired Settlement: Please explain how can they conduct business where it delays its customer so far out (2 months) with horrible communication that I had to get the receptionist involved, resist quoting and carpeting all continuous needs as well as painting needs, then quoting a seemingly absurd amount to paint the ceiling (which should have been included in the quote) in addition to the walls which will already have all applicable scaffolding in place. Further the only apology and care I got was from the receptionist, nothing but indifference from the rep.
