I called Perfect Limo a couple of times to receive a quote. Very odd that 3 times I received 3 different quotes and they seemed to go higher for the same service. The men who answer the phone are rude and condescending. As I was researching more limo companies I came across a Corona Limo website. When I clicked it takes you to Perfect Limo. Than even more shady is another company called Diamond Limousine which is the same as Corona. This just seems to be extremely deceitful marketing, shady and unethical. How can 1 limo company do business under so many different names and try to mislead consumers. I noticed on the Revdex.com site some of these companies have been suspended.
The potential customer called only three times and was requesting quotes as a brand new potential customer. Our prices change upon availability for the vehicles. Only management could offer discounts. This will further be different price. All calls are recorded. She is lying and misleading. She received only two quotes. The first was discounted by a manager because she was demanding a discount because her son is a police officer from Los Angeles PD and does business with one of our frequent referral hotels. She first called at 03/14/2019 at 11:41 am spoke to Michael part of management team. He offered her a great deal that was discounted. She failed to reserve the vehicle. Second time she called was 03/15/19 11:49 am spoke to dispatcher and received full price quote. She did not like it and said how she will be looking for another company. The last call on 03/18/19 at 12:47 PM she spoke for about 1 minute call where there was no quote given but she was very upset calling us "shady" and why we have different names. We are not Diamond Limousine. She has got us mixed up with other companies. We do have DBA's "Doing Business As" its its not illegal. We are licensed, registered company. Out websites state our name at the bottom of the page or any other website are landing pages that bring traffic to our website. This is SEO and advertisement strategy that many companies use according to legalzoom it states, "Sometimes it makes sense for a company to do business under a different name. To do this, the company has to file what's know as a DBA, meaning "doing business as." A DBA is also known as a "fictitious business name," "trade name," or "assumed name."
Once your DBA registration is complete, the company can use the secondary name to open bank accounts, write checks, and enter contracts. If you don't file a DBA and just start doing business under a different name you could face penalties and fines, not to mention the possibility of lawsuits.
Sole proprietorships commonly use DBAs because a sole proprietorship's offical, legal name is simply the name of the owner. A DBA lets them use a real business name.
All types of businesses can use a DBA, not just sole proprietorships. LLCs, corporations, and partnerships can all file to get a DBA."
