Out of 4 SoFla moves in last 6 years, I've thankfully never had a bad experience. But this was hands down the best. The owner (Ward) gave me a really fair estimate from the beginning, but also packing and labeling tips on how my wife and I could cut costs. The final price with a generous tips ended up being less than the estimate we had budgeted for. The actual movers (Lamont, "Flex", and Henry) were excellent. They arrived bright eyed and bushy tailed to our 3 bdr in Sunrise/Sawgrass at 8am. They were done moving us into our 4 bdr in North Miami with the same attitude by 2pm. In case you don't move often, 6 hours with that kind of travel distance is UNHEARD of (not to mention both places are townhomes with two flights of stairs). The reason for this is that these guys have really creative solutions that cut down on time while also maintaining the safety of your belongings. For example, they got my round dining room table out of the front door in one whole piece. I've had that piece for 8 years, and NEVER seen anyone manage to do that. As long as they're in business, they can expect mine. There's no other option IMO.
Thank you Tony for the wonderful review. You are correct when you say we move quickly yet safely. It takes both to have a successful move.
Great move! The team of three men were sharp and hard working. They brought their A game. Quick and efficient all while taking great care of the furniture. I was very happy with the service and would reccomend them to a friend.
Thank you John for the review and for being our customer for the past few years. You know I wish you could be here when I read these reviews to my men. They stand a little taller, their faces light up as they fill with pride. Then they take that feeling of good will to the next job creating a positive cycle. So you see your input is more important than you may realise.
Great movers. 3rd time I have used them and each time went just as quoted in time and cost.
Hey Ward. Your men loaded up the moving truck quickly to help with our move to north Fla. They arrived at our home shortly after we arrived to carefully unload all our heavy furniture & possessions.
Did such a fantastic job that I gave them a huge tip.
And Extraordinary Movers moving cost is very, very reasonable and timely.
Thanks again Ward. God bless and Merry Christmas
Thanks for the kind words, ***. I very grateful for the opportunity to move you and I know the men are very happy. Enjoy your new home.
Excellent job by the guys. I have used them many times and they always do a good job.
Thanks *** ,it's always a pleasure doing business with you, even if you're not there. I can't remember exactly what they said but they liked the person that you had put in charge. My men are generally a good judge of character. See ya next time..
I'm a repeat customer for a reason. These guys are fantastic! Warren, I have to brag about your movers- they were definitely top notch! Highly recommended!
Thank you Ms. It was our pleasure.
My experience with A League of Extraordinary Movers was wonderful. The two gentleman who came to unload my furniture were so polite, professional and caring that I was pleasantly surprised. Last year I had a very negative experience with another company but... these two gentleman were so polite. They moved my items with the care as if they were their own. Before they left, we were asked if there was any thing else they could do before they left and they meant it. From the boss to the workers, I would highly recommend "A league of Extraordinary Movers"
Thank you Mrs. it's been our pleasure. For us customer service also means customer friendly.
Moving company I hired damaged the walls and front door of my apartment. One worker assigned to the move abandoned the job which forced me to assist.
I hired A League of Extraordinary Movers for a 1 Bedroom Apartment move from *** - ***X to *** on July 23, 2019. *** and I agreed on a Flat Rate Price of $520 with one truck and three workers for the move on the above date. Two workers arrived on time for the move at 9:00 A.M. and I inquired about the third worker and was told by both workers that it was only two of them working this job.
As a result, both workers proceeded with the move. They loaded all agreed(contract) furniture, electronics and boxes into the truck without any problems. I met both workers at *** and they proceeded to remove the furniture, electronics and boxes from the truck to the apartment.
During the move, one of the workers was having difficulty moving a chair and other furniture into the apartment and requested me to call his co-worker for assistance after the damage was already done to the front door of the apartment and inside walls of the apartment. Once the worker left the truck to go upstairs to assist his co-worker. I heard loud arguments from the 5th floor catwalk and requested them to stop arguing. Once both workers came down on the elevator to the 1st Floor, both workers were visibly angry and upset. I was informed by one of the workers that my front wall was damaged with several holes. The worker that damaged the door and wall said he was going to tell me and kept repeating that his co-worker punched him in the face on the 5th floor. He confronted his co-worker three times about punching him in the face on the 5th floor. As a result, both workers had three physical fights with punches exchanged on the 1st floor in front of the elevator. After each physical altercation, one of the workers repeatedly stated that his son just died and why did you punch me in the face upstairs.
One of the tenants of the building witnessed one of the fights and threatened to call the police if both workers didn't stop physically fighting in front of the 1st floor elevator.
After the third fight, the worker that caused damage to my walls and door helped me take two flat screen tv's off the moving truck and abandoned the job with the moving truck. I informed his co-worker the other worker left. As a result, the one remaining worker and I completed the rest of the move to the apartment by moving the remaining furniture, electronics and boxes.
Once all of the furniture, electronics, and boxes was moved to the apartment, I assessed the damage to the walls and front door. I noticed scraped walls with several holes. Also, scraped and dented front door. Pictures were taken of damaged walls and door. The remaining worker contacted *** and I waited several hours for the owner to show up to assess the damage. Once he arrived, Mr. assessed the damage and agreed to give me a substantial discount of the agreed flat rate price of $520 for the inconvenience. In addition, Mr. agreed to pay for the repair costs.
Once I informed Mr. that I had the walls repaired(receipt), I inquired about his discount price. Mr. would not tell me his discount price without me first informing him the amount of the repair cost. When I insisted he inform me first of his discounted price for the move, he said that he is no longer giving me a discount and hung up the telephone.
Solution: I need a third party to mediate and calculate a fair, reasonable discount rate for the move minus repair cost.

We will be sending him an offer soon via courier to see if it will put this matter to rest.We appreciate the patience of all involved. Cordially Ward Blanchard II.

A League of Extraordinary Movers has the old address I moved from and the new address I moved to. In addition, the business has my cell number and e-mail address. I have not received any physical or electronic mail or phone calls from them during the month of July and August after I filed this complaint. A League of Extraordinary Movers should send the updated contract settlement proposal to the following address using USPS Priority Mail with USPS tracking information:
***
***
P.O. Box XXXXXX
***, *** XXXXX
Understood, our position remains the same due to the fact that *** has already be proven by his own words to be untrustworthy.I would have to rely on him to send original contracts back at his expense and quite frankly I'd have to hope that another stall tactic isn't incorporated. We've offered *** a reasonable solution at no inconvenience or expense to him. He has refused. Our position remains the same.We are the wounded party here.*** has not paid any money and it's our opinion he has never had any intentions of paying.I have no longer the time to waste chasing crumbs that have fallen from my feast. Tell *** to enjoy his ill gotten fortune but since he is still keeping the money this review should either be removed or placed in a favorable light for our company. At this point we are considering the matter closed.
(The consumer indicated he/she ACCEPTED the response from the business.)
I am not surprised A League of Extraordinary Movers considers the matter closed without payment due to the damage, unprofessional work ethic during/after the move, and refusal to send a reduced contract proposal using e-mail or USPS certified Mail with tracking number and signature confirmation to the provided address. Proof of previous attempts to deliver contract proposal was never provided. Please treat your customers better in the future and train your workers to put the job first and personal problems second. Good luck. Take care.
