A & J Custom Cabinet's & Wood Work

Review: In January 2014, hired A&J Custom Cabinets for kitchen work (build a new base kitchen cabinet that matches my existing base cabinets, refinish all cabinet faces and one open cabinet interior, and replace my existing base cabinet doors with new plain doors) and to build a new hallway in my home. It is now April 2014 and none of this work has been completed. The base cabinet they built did not match my existing base cabinet; the door, drawer and kickplate were noticeably different heights than those on my existing base cabinets. Although they said they would fix the problem, they still haven't and haven't responded to my request for a date of completion. They also haven't completed the other kitchen work I hired them to do. They never did the hallway. I paid them, in good faith, $3712 of the $4800 contract for the entire job (kitchen and hall) and they have not completed the work, nor returned any of the money reserved for the hallway.Desired Settlement: 1) complete the kitchen cabinet work2) refund the portion of the deposit reserved for the hallway
