Complaint[redacted], The person I spoke with over the phone at the Revdex.com said to send an email to you and you would be able to process my complaint. I own a house at [redacted], ** and have been taken advantage of by someone listed on the Revdex.com business list. On or about November 10, 2015, I agreed with my property manager, [redacted] of [redacted], that he should hire [redacted], d/b/a 'A Fine Line Customer Paint' to replace rotten wood and paint the exterior of [redacted] for a price of $2,950 (see email attached). He was to have begun the work 12/28/15. He did not. He wanted half of the money up front to buy supplies and pay for half of the job. I thought that was a little unusual but since Mr. [redacted] and others had used this person before with no problem, I trusted Mr. [redacted] and that Mr. [redacted] would be an honorable man and do what he said he would do. Mr. [redacted] is not trustworthy or honorable. I have attached a second email where my property manager told my renters that Mr. [redacted] would begin the job again, due to his personal troubles and wet weather, around the end of January. My property manager, [redacted], finally contacted me again in February to say that Mr. [redacted] had completed only one day's worth of work and bought only a few supplies. (see attached). He then said he called and texted him several times after that to get him to commit to finishing the job but said he would have varying excuses such as medical or car trouble, etc. Mr. [redacted] than called me to say we needed to get the job completed so he contacted someone else to complete the job. Mr. [redacted] continued to try to contact Mr. [redacted] but I was told that Mr. [redacted] finally stopped answering the calls and did not return texts. Mr. [redacted] asked that he repay $1,200.00 in $25 increments per week until the money had been repaid but Mr. [redacted] has only paid $25.00 total toward the remaining balance owed to me for work not completed. I consider this a scam since he is unwilling to pay back the money given him for work he did not do. If you would like to talk to me, you may call me at XXX-XXX-XXXX or Mr. [redacted] at XXX-XXX-XXXX. [redacted] (office)
