A David Anthony Salon + Spa, Inc.

I received a phone call today that I was 15 minutes late for my appointment. I could still come in and get a hair cut, but there was no time for the color, so I would have to pay for the color anyway. In speaking to the manager she informed me that they called to confirm my appointment, which was completely untrue, I have the Verizon statement to prove. She then proceeded to tell e that I missed an appointment, I explained I had a death in the family. When I mentioned to her that they never called, and one time I showed up for a scheduled appointment, the receptionist made a mistake and I was sent home, no compensation. She became irate and sad she was charging me full price for a cut and color, which would be over $150. I brought to her attention that I never signed anything, nothing in their establishment is posted and when I asked for headquarters phone number she informed me I was not allowed in her store and hung up on me. This is completed unfair I don't understand how they can do this without making people aware, or signing an agreement. Please help, or explain to me if this is legal. I called the local police department they said it was not legal and that I needed to contact you. They suggested I file a civil suit as well. I'm hoping you can help.
