We have many older trees on our property, including sixteen ash trees that have been damaged by the emerald ash borer. We decided to have those trees removed and to have some of our other trees trimmed as well. Some of them were in rather tight spots. The men from A Cut Above approached the project with interest. (Some of the others who came to examine this job actually made grumblings that it was so difficult.) They carried out the work with safety and smooth teamwork. They were polite and offered some good advice to us about a few smaller trimming jobs that we wanted to do ourselves. We shall be calling on them for future tree services.

My husband and I have live on a heavily wooded lot, filled with very old, very beautiful hardwood trees. Shortly after we bought the house, we needed some clean up done in the yard and I happened to meet [redacted] from A Cut Above while he was working on another job. Because I didn't really have previous experience with tree services, I asked for his card by chance. Wow, am I glad I did!
Over the past several years, I feel like [redacted] has become a part of the family. Every time I call for work to be done, [redacted] remembers us and our property. He is very knowledgeable about all species of trees and their appropriate maintenance, and he patiently answers any questions we may have regarding the well-being of our trees. He is a very dedicated arborist, and I completely trust his recommendations regarding the care of our trees.
His work is conducted in a very professional, workmanlike manner and safety, both to himself and his crew and to my property, is always his top priority. On top of his knowledge and professionalism, [redacted] is a really nice guy! Recently, we lost a very large oak tree in our yard and we called [redacted] for an estimate to have it removed. He was just as sad about its loss as we were, and it was comforting to know that unlike some contractors, this tree, and the health of our remaining trees, meant much more to him than just a "job".
