I made a settlement with the A. Chambers & Associates, LLC collection agency for an old Payday Loan account that I had with another company. I made the final settlement offer payment with them and they were supposed to stop automatically drafting my bank account. The following month, the company drafted my account which caused me to incur an NSF Overdraft fee. When I called the company, I spoke Ms. [redacted] and she was very rude, insisting that the bank would reverse the fees because the draft was A Chambers' error. I was given the run around by the company because they did not want to reimburse me for the fees I was charged. I was finally able to get my credit union on the phone who did a three way call with Ms. [redacted] from A. Chambers & Associates, LLC and the credit union representative explained that they don't reverse fees for errors and that it was A Chambers' responsibility to reimburse me for the fees. Ms. [redacted] was very rude to the credit union representative and ended up hanging up the phone stating "do what you have to do to get the money."
