Review: I had hired this company fix a leak under my kitchen sink. They had recommended to remove a portion of the pipes and replace them. I thought it was excessive, but I would rather have it done right. When I finally got tenants in, the leak started again and the tenants sent video of the leak which showed water coming from where they had just removed and replaced the pipes. We called the company back out to fix what we had already paid them for and asked that they rectify their mistake and ensured that we would not be charged. The owner was reluctant at first to come out, but I finally got them to send someone. They came out, said it was an unrelated issue, and just invoiced us with no authorization or agreement for the work and without the opportunity to verify that it was indeed the previous leak. I've disputed the charge in writing and wrote a Yelp review, to which I have subsequently been receiving unprofessional texts (which I have screen shots of) threatening to send me to collections and to sue me for slander for the additional $65 they tacked on to our bill for unauthorized work; which, from the video, was the leak they failed to fix previously. We did not authorize anything beyond the scope of them fixing what we had already paid them for. The service purportedly rendered, was unverifiable, unauthorized, and likely the result of not doing the original work correctly to begin with. The response from the owner has been unprofessional and counter productive.Desired Settlement: I would like to receive a letter, in writing, clearing the amount that they charged, in excess, of the work we had already paid them. I would also appreciate the threatening of collections to cease.
