Valet service at [redacted] and [redacted] lost our keys. No [redacted] supervisor ever responded sufficiently. Owner promised to call back and never did.
Had a nice dinner at [redacted] & [redacted]s on J Street in Sacto on the evening of Feb 23rd. Used the valet service and when we came out, they could not find our keys. I understand these things happen, but the [redacted] supervisor, [redacted] was minimally responsive, left it up to the college kids to handle and made a flippant remark (i.e. "I wish I could just make your keys materialize out of thin air but I can't so there is nothing else I can do"). No offer to compensate us for ruining our evening and pretty much didn't care. The college kid drove us home (our house keys were locked in the car), then all the way back to retrieve the car. They found the keys in someone else's car the next day and the same college kid dropped them off. No follow-up, care or concern from any supervisor. The restaurant wasn't even responsible and they went way out of their way to try to help us and make things right. [redacted] Enterprises simply did not care. I called to complain and eventually spoke to the owner. He said he was not aware of the incident and would look into it and get back to me. After several days without a response, I called again and he said he was at lunch and would call me back. Three weeks later and no return call. They ruined our meal and evening; I had to file a police report until they found the keys; had to call a friend to meet me at my house with a spare key; had to go all the way back downtown to retrieve my car; and then had to keep spending time trying to get any [redacted] supervisor to show the slightest follow-up or concern, which they never have. Very unprofessional, sloppy and rude.
