I have been attempting to cancel my membership since May 2013. I contacted the facility to see what was necessary of me to cancel since I had relocated. I did everything the facility advised me to do and the membership was never canceled. I spoke with [redacted] in July and he advised me that I needed to make the May 2013 payment and then it would be canceled.I called ABC Financial as [redacted] instructed, to make the payment. I thought at that point the membership was canceled. I have now started receiving collection calls for $390. I contacted ABC Financial and they have been of no assistance. They told me that the actual facility sent my account to collections.I called the facility back again and I was told that the account was canceled and that they did not send me to collections. I have called and left several messages with ABC Financial as well as Anytime Fitness. I have not received any useful assistance from anyone. My credit is being affected because no one has properly canceled my membership.
