A-Auto Salvage and Sales

I received a quote to tow and purchase my son's car from Brian (the owner's son). The quote was $250 if we drove the car in, $200 if they tow. When I called back to make the arrangements, I spoke with Chris (who was very nice and tried to be helpful). Chris told me the owner would never agree to the price I was quoted. He spoke to the owner who said he'd only pay me $100 total. He explained there was a "power struggle" between the owner and his son and that the owner was "overruling" the son. I told him this seemed like bad business practice and the only person who got screwed was the customer. I called another local yard and was quoted $295.
