new forms MUST be used. We do not have leeway to not use them. We understand your frustration, we know it creates a hardship to have to send disabled persons out to get more paperwork signed by their physicians. However, we are required to follow the rules and regulations. The Puyallup office took your form in error and they should not have accepted it to process your disabled privilege, by doing so, they have made our office appear to be the "bad guys" for following the rules, which is extremely unfortunate. This practice also puts you at risk of having your disabled parking privilege suspended if Olympia reviews the paperwork and notices the incorrect form was used they would require you to go back to your doctor and get the new form signed. The fact is, you had the incorrect form for us to process your disabled parking privilege, and we apologize for any inconvenience. We would NEVER look at someone's appearance and make a decision to send them out based on how they look! Only doctors and authorized care givers can determine who qualifies for disabled parking privileges. Customer service is extremely important to us and again, please accept our sincere apology for any inconvenience
