A-1 Paving Company

I just picked the first issue. There are several others.

1. The owner [redacted] told me he accepted AMEX credit cards to get the job. He then said he couldn't AMEX when they started. The 50% up-front payment I made with a check. As soon as he finished he wanted the other 50%. The worked looked okay and again I reminded [redacted] I preferred to use a credit card. He called his office and then said he could NOT. He's the owner. He should know and should not have to make pretend he is called the office. He insisted on a check and the interesting part is that he wanted it in HIS name only, NOT to A-1 Paving.

2. The grade was done on a Monday and then paved on Thursday. That evening it rained. The next morning I had a puddle in my NEW driveway 11 ft x 2.5 ft x 1/2 inch. My old drive way was better graded and only had small puddles!

3. A-1 paving removed the old surface, carefully working around the town water main shut-off valve marked in blue then paved over it.

4. I've Lenny FOUR times and he will not pick his phone up or return my calls. This wasn't ever a problem prior to doing the work.
