Sent: Wednesday, December 02, 8:PM To: drteam Subject: Re: Revdex.com Case # [redacted] - Brothers Wheel and Tires To the conclusion we installed heater core and radiator yes transmission lines were disconnected but we also did a courtesy check right after the jobAll fluids were at there level transmission fluid was dirty and needed to be changed out as soon as possible customer was notified.Customer came back days later saying his transmission is slippingBefore we test drive I ask the mechanic too check fluids again and all fluids were at the level and I told his wife how dirty the transmission fluid is but she was yelling profanity saying that we have to install new transmission and labor at our expenseWe never asked anyone to get off the property as soon as I took my phone out to take pictures of the fluid she then yelled profanity again and got inside car and started to drive offTo the point there was never no (Leaks) or anything that could've caused all fluid to leak out like [redacted] says..Fluids were checked after the job was done and were checked again when wife came and they were at the same levels when we checked the first time Thank You
Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint [Provide details of why you are not satisfied with this resolution.] Regards, First of all I already knew I had a crack in the radiator we had discussed fixing it when he was fixing the heater core,I was trying to find the part at a better priceWhen I first asked him if they replaced the transmission fluid after changing the radiator he said it wasn't needed because none came out when they changed the radiatorI know how to change out a radiator and I know it will be fluid leakage when you disconnect the transmission lines from the radiatorMy vehicle never had or has a transmission fluid leakWhen I asked them if they checked the level he told me my vehicle didn't have a dipstickMy wife brought the truck back so they can check per their request.I was informed transmission was goneThen he said he found another one to replace itBut I had to pay for it,I refused because I fill they are responsible for the damage doneThe owner went as far as saying because of the year of my vehicleIt was time for the transmission to go outMy wife went to get keys out truck when she was approached my ownerHe tried to explain same thing to her she refused to payAnd another guy came out told her to get truck off propertyShe attempted to move vehicle wouldn't go in gear,she finally got it to move as she was driving off owner was taking pictures with phoneWhat is usually a five minute drive took her thirty minutes because she had to keep turning truck off and switching the gears to make it go,truck wouldn't go but miles and hour.They denied ever taking transmission lines apart until I told them that's impossibleThey had to change radiator,then he changed story saying nothing came out.Ive tried to work this out with them
Sent: Monday, November 16, 6:PM Subject: Revdex.com Case # [redacted] - Brothers Wheel and Tires Enclosed is a Service and Repair ReceiptCustomer came to the shop on October 15, requesting service to replace heater coreUpon replacing the heater core, he asked if could check vehicle because it was over heating and mechanic notice a crack on the radiatorCustomer was notified and he agreed to have us replace the radiatorWhen the work order was complete we did a courtesy check of all fluids, which included antifreeze, oil, transmission fluid and brake fluid Customer left satisfied On November 3,I received a phone call from Customer about a transmission leak and wanted to know what we were going to do about itHe said his wife would stop by the shop later with the vehicle She came to the shop and the vehicle was brought in by wreckerI had my mechanic check for any leaks from the transmission and around it Everything seemed the transmission fluid was at its level but needed to be change because it was dirty I offered her a discount to change the transmission fluid but she insisted the whole transmission needed to be replaced at our expense She started yelling and verbally assaulting me with profanityThen drove off the lot with the vehicleThanks Brothers Wheels and Tires Mike G***
