A-1 Appliance Repair & Installation

this guy is operating and advertising under the name A-1 Appliance repair but his receipt says he's [redacted]'s Appliance.

I called [redacted] in mid September 2013 as we were having a problem with our electric oven. When he came to look at it

he did he not bring any testing equipment. He asked me what the problem was. I told hold him a I thought the

element was not heating up correctly. He turned it on and stuck his hand in and said yup, thats the problem. He

called his "parts guy" and told me the parts were in stock and needed payment to order them. I wrote him to a

check for the amount in full. He cashed the check and it cleared in less than a week. He called back a few days later

to come back to install the parts. My wife took the day off to wait for him but he never showed up. He doesn't answer or return

calls from me trying to figure out what was going on. When I finally got in contact he said he was having trouble

getting the parts and would refund our money.Well its been 4 months and after numerous attempts to get him to resolve this issue

he finally told me quote: "I'll give you WHAT I WANT WHEN I WANT". He apparently wants to charge me not only for the parts but

his service call fee ($20.00) which he said he would waive since I live in the next town. I'm fine with paying him to come out and stick his

hand in my oven but not the $200.00 he owes me.
