The original estimate was for the roof and gutters for $5700. The window wrapping was added after the original estimate for a cost of $1250.00. [redacted] (Husband) asked for a discount. So I said $1000.00. total cost of this job complete... $6700.00. I did set a few different start dates due to not having enough workers to complete the job in one day. We did start and finish the roof job on September 26 2015. [redacted] (husband) did contact me by text the next morning about the cigarette butts, the tar marks on the siding. I apologized for the cigarette butts and the tar marks. I told [redacted] I would come up the next morning and pick up the cigarette butts. [redacted] advised that it really wasn't a big deal that he would pick them up just wanted me to know. I was very upset with my workers for this as I do not smoke myself. As far as the tar marks on the siding I knew that these could be removed by WD-40 has happened before. I told [redacted] if these tar marks could not be removed I would replace the siding. He advised that he was okay with that. Shortly after finishing the roof the next day or two [redacted] texted me and asked if I could tape up the gable step flashing as he had not had time to complete the siding. [redacted] advised that rain was in the area. I sent two guys to his residence and they taped the gable step flashing to keep from leaking. As far as the window wrapping I was told by JR my sub contractor that he would start early so I texted [redacted] and advised him of this. JR never showed as he advised me he would. JR is no longer a sub contractor for my company. Oct. 7 I had back surgery. On Oct 8 I spoke to [redacted] about the guys being late. He advised that he didn't want JR or the gutter guys to work it was to late. So I canceled both the Gutter guys and JR. Then after cancelling, [redacted] advised that they could come after all. So to my knowledge the problem was taken care of. The Mrs. Pence calls and raises hell with me over the same thing that her husband and I had just taken care of. Remember I had just had surgery the day before. I should have never answered the phone but I did. So I did tell her I was not going to listen to her bh and I did disconnect the call. She called back and the conversation was civil then. JR finished the windows and sent me pictures of all the windows completed. As far as the tar marks on the siding JR also removed these. JR advised that [redacted] came outside to show him the marks after he had removed them and [redacted] could not locate any tar marks anywhere on the house or garage. JR said [redacted] looked for a minute and never located any tar marks. JR finished the windows and was given a check paying the job in full. The check was written by Jacquelyn Pence. My question is if the windows or roof was not satisfactory then why pay in full. As far as the poor workmanship on the windows. I was never advised of this until I received the letter from the BBB I received a text from [redacted] saying they had a leak. I advised that the guys would be there in the morning. At that time the rain was over. As far as the roof leak Billy my lead man advised the the plumbing roof boot had not sealed around the cast iron stack. Billy sealed both cast iron Plumbing stacks with silicone. Billy was advised by [redacted] that the kitchen ceiling had prior damage from the previous roof boot leaking. Billy did say that the drywall needed cut out and replaced. Billy also advised that the drywall was wet at the time he was there. I advised Billy that we would replace the damaged drywall. Billy stated that [redacted] just wants us to cut out and replace the drywall that he (Matt) would texture it. I advised Billy that was okay if that's what [redacted] wanted. I have addressed all the complaints in this BBB letter. I offer to look at the window wrapping and see if they look unprofessional. If they do look unprofessional I offer to replace and rewrap them at no cost to them. We will also cut out and replace a small piece of drywall in the kitchen. We will schedule this in if accepted by the Pence's. I have been in business since 1997. I have never received a BBB complaint. I have never not been able to make a customer happy with our work. I do the best I can to make my customers happy. Thank You William [redacted] Willie's Home Improvements 553 Elliott Avenue New Castle, In. 47362 [redacted]

Revdex.com:
I have read Mr. R[redacted] response to my complaint. I do accept his resolution at this time. BIlly, Mr. R[redacted] foreman, did come out and was very respectful and pleasant to work with. He also expressed displeasure with the workmanship on the windows to my husband.
To respond to a couple of things in Mr. R[redacted] response; We paid, in full, because Mr. R[redacted] had threatened to walk off the job, knowing this would leave us having to find another contractor to finish his work which would be both timely and costly to us. I had also written the check prior to this day and was not home when the job was completed, as I had to work that night. I would also like it noted that my husband, [redacted], has progressive Multiple Sclerosis with cognitive and anxiety issues. This experience was becoming an issue to his well being. Also, as Mr. R[redacted] had j[redacted] had surgery the day prior to our phone conversation he would have had to have seen how hard nurses work for 12 hours a day/night, which I do in an ICU. Two nights of going to work without sleep was becoming detrimental to my job. He, as the owner of the company, was my only recourse for expressing my fr[redacted]rations and since he cursed at me and blatantly expressed no desire to hear them I had no where else to go.
This experience has taught us a very valuable lesson as first time home owners. We will be sure to get personal references regarding businesses in the future.
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. The merchant representative contacted me today but only said they will run investigation on the food safety issue. Meanwhile he asked me to send him a copy of purchase receipt, which I am going to do by today. However, they have not promised to refund me yet.So I would ask Revdex.com to please keep this complaint open until it is resolved by the merchant.

Review: Yesterday I bough some Kimbo dumplings (bagged) from Ranch 99 Grocery but they were bad ones. After my whole family ate those dumplings, we all got diarrhea and went to emergency room.Desired Settlement: I request Ranch 99 Grocery store to investigate this food safety incident due to their bad product and compensate my family both the purchase refund and medical expense.

Review: I was informed to receive a $100 gift card for being selected as one of the winners of the 99 ranch market 30th anniversary sweepstakes. A letter was mailed to me to inform me of the above with the direction to call the costomer service line. The letter did not state a expiration date and was mailed to me in mid august 2014. We have contacted the service line as directed and was told to simply bring the letter to the 99 ranch market at 1300 s golden west ave, Arcadia to claim our price at anytime. No deadline provided. We have been to the store twice during the period, which is approx 1 month from the date of the letter received. The first time we were told by the customer service representative at the store that they have not yet received the Gift cards from their promotion department. The second time which is today, I was told that the gift card is no longer available because the deadline was last week. Throughout this time, we were not informed of a deadline, neither on the original letter or when we called the customer service. I believe this is a form of fraud.Desired Settlement: The amount of the gift card $100 as stated.
In addition, $100 for the time spent and the traveling expenses occurred to pick up the gift card twice and both times the card was not delivered as promised.
