Working with John, Project Manager of the Norwood, MA office, was extremely satisfying and very reasonable compared to other quotes. With our community being hit with an extensive storm and flooding, my call for water mitigation was answered immediately. Within the hour the work began! John arrived with the determination and know-how needed to get the job done: extracting the water due to the surge, spraying antimicrobial to affected areas, and setting up a dehumidifier and fans to dry the basement out. Immediately improvements could be seen. An added bonus was given us when the job was almost complete (after projected 3 days of drying). Unexpectedly during the drying period, another flood came through an accidental spike in a water pipe, causing the flooding issue again! With a direct call to John's cell phone, he arrived to rearrange the equipment and set up the water mitigation program for the second time AT NO EXTRA CHARGE as a courtesy. All work was done on schedule and with utmost expertise. I highly recommend this company for your Restoration needs.
I hired 911 Restoration to remove some mold and mildew from a closet that had suffered some water damage. I was given an estimate of $1200. This estimate was based on an initial inspection that expected it would take more than half a day to remove what was thought to be drywall, then to dry out the area and to treat it. My scheduled appointment was at 9 a.m. on Monday, November 27. After two hours, I called the company to confirm that they were still coming. I was told that the project manager was out sick but that they would still send a team to do the work. When the workers arrived, they discovered that the mold and mildew was on a concrete wall, rather than drywall, so the scope of work would be significantly reduced. They simply had to scrape the affected concrete and treat it. There was no drywall removal; nor did they need to dry out the affected area. They were in and out in under 90 minutes. The workers told me that I needed to give them a check for the estimated amount as a deposit but to contact the company about an adjustment because of the limited scope of work that was eventually done. I have contacted 911 Restoration numerous times since then, but they haven't gotten back to me about the adjusted amount (and have since cashed my check).
