My families AC went out, specifically the thermostat was no longer giving a display so we could not control the temperature in the house. The system itself was cooling albeit at reduced efficiency, suggesting it also needed freon.

We were pointed towards this company by family and friends because a family members goes to the same church as the companies owner. My grandparents being religious folk wanted to support the business. We called to set up an appointment and were told he would be here the next day.

He came the next day and looked at our thermostat confirming that it and it's coupled part on the unit itself needed to be replaced. Unfortunately he had come so late in the day (around 4-5pm) that he said he could not get the part we needed to fix it and we would have to wait another day. This should have been a red flag, but we stuck with him.

(Day 3) The cost for a new thermostat with labor and about a half hours worth of work came to 275.00. The issue with the air temp was never addressed and we were told to let it run for a few hours to see if the air cooled (Mind you PRIOR to the new unit being installed the AC still cooled). It never did. When we asked him to return to fix the issue he said he would be back at the end of the day, but like the first time he ended up calling at the end of the day to tell us he would instead come the next day.

5 days have past with my family living in a 85-86 degree house, when he returned that morning he began to test the system with a device in all taking about a half an hour. Like we had thought the system would need around 3 lbs of freon, and some part in the system would need to be replaced as it was not allowing the freon to "flow/circulate" or whatever. He said he would go get the part, then return by no later than 3pm that same day and that the repairs would cost us around 175.00.

3pm comes and goes and we hear no word from him, when we call to ask if he was still coming or if he would flake again like he had twice before he gets upset. Evidently the company is under no real obligation to repair your appliances 5 days after the fact, let alone on the same day! He pointed out how he was giving us a discount for our business, but the discount on the 275.00 bill was 15.00.

When he finally arrived at 5pm and looked at the AC unit again, he said we needed a new air compressor or something, that would cost us 1,100 not including labor. So it took him 6days to tell us he couldn't fix it...

I highly suggest people use another company to fix their appliances or risk having the same experience as we had. Living in AZ and being without AC during the "summer" season is not a pleasant experience, and having to wait 6 days to get it repaired is just insane. When I pay for a service I'd expect for whatever was broke to be fixed the same day repairs are made.
