I'm outraged by the lack of service, complete disregard and compassion for human beingsI am a senior citizen, drove over hrs because this dental office was the closest that took my insurance only to find out that because they recommended a deep cleaning which wasn't covered by my insurance and not affordableThey also refused to give me a regular cleaning that I was going to pay out of pocket for because I wouldn't accept the deep cleaning due to costHow horrible can a facility be to refuse a cleaning on a patient because they cant afford to pay $1,for a deep cleaningDoes this make sense? Lets go ahead and not help someone at all if they cannot afford the service recommendedSO lets turn them down and refuse any cleaningI ended driving back over hours without any dental cleaning

I called 7 Day Dental and gave them my insurance information, then asked if they were part of my PPO. I was told yes by 3 employees. I scheduled an appt. for my daughter and myself. When I went in for my appt. I was given a quote of a little over $600.00 as due from me. After the service I received a notice in the mail that I owed over $2000.00 because they were not in my PPO. I called and talked to accounts receivable I was told well that's to bad how would you like to pay your bill. I set up payments for about 6 months. When that payment plan ran out I called, left voicemails, and emailed attempting to contact accounts receivable. I finally contacted [redacted] in accounts receivable informed her I have been attempting to contact her. She stated she never received any of my voicemails. I again told her I felt what they had done surely have to be illegal. She told me we had already visited this subject and she has already turned my account over to collections because she had not heard from me.Product_Or_Service: Dental workDesired SettlementI would like the original billing to be upheld when they told me they were part of my PPO. I would not have gone to that dentist without that misinformation.

I was billed, along with my insurance, for a service that was not received... I had paid already for my root canal and crown. Any day dental charged me for the placement for the crown. When I received the bill I called and was told that it would be taken care of. Then I was receiving finance charges and called again and was told that it was part of the first procedure. This was the beginning of many reasons why I was charged including [redacted] that said it was because I missed an appointment. I received a letter from lawyers trying to get over 560 dollars for a service I did not receive AND have been keeping up on but will not get called back because someone is always new and doesn't know how to handle the situation and I would be told that I would get a call back.. Never happens. My insurance is also aware that I didn't receive the service and I had already paid 800 dollars out of pocket for my root canal.Product_Or_Service: NothingDesired SettlementPlease get my name out of the lawyers office and I do not owe ANY DAY DENTAL money. Please

Review: The manager, [redacted]., emails others, and tried to coerce me into writing a favorable review on [redacted].

On Jan 5, 2015, they were supposed to submit for my root canals. 64 days later, I did a sit-in at [redacted] for the authorization.

The office that did the root canals, [redacted], will not make an appointment with me to finish the filling and crown, without 7 Day Dental or [redacted] authorizing the switch -- that they did not steal their client.

Read all my problems at

katydiddd.tripod.com/index.htmlMarch 23, 2015 7 Day Dental has offices in [redacted] and [redacted] 7 Day Dental, owned by [redacted], is terrible, but coerces others, and tried to coerce me into giving favorable reviews. On February 18, more than a month after they were supposed to submit a request for authorizing 3 root canals, the manager of their [redacted] office on [redacted] told me she would "re-submit" but wanted me to write a favorable [redacted] review. Here is a 7-page list of dozens of terrible practices that happened to me at "7 Day Dental" Office; [redacted]; [redacted]; and [redacted] Complaints of others can be found at [redacted] This complaint, my emails, timeline, and other info can be found at my pages: [redacted] 1) NOW, I AM IN LIMBO -- WHO IS IN CHARGE? 77 days ago, on January 5, 2015, a request to treat two teeth was supposed to be submitted. Why aren't the teeth finished? I have attached copies of my records to my emails to [redacted] and [redacted] They receive them and access my files. Still, my inquiries go unanswered. WHO IS IN CHARGE? Where can I go? I cannot get an authorization to see another dentist to submit for an authorization! I did a sit-in at the [redacted] Corporate Headquarters in [redacted]. Then, [redacted] was going to FAX them a worthless notice they send to clients, which no dentist will accept. So, I balked, and got an authorization that they send to dentists to START the work. But, now I am stuck in limbo, with nobody ever EVER answering. My last email said: "I need cleaning remnants of cavity and filling inside old crown of #30; cleaning remnants of cavity and crown for #29? If you had read my emails about the way I was mistreated, you would want me taken care of, so I could quickly go back to straight [redacted]" - - - - - 2) FALSIFIED DATES AND ACCOUNT LEDGERS: I was told on January 5, 2015 that 7 Day Dental's insurance lady, [redacted], would put in for the authorization (She is not trustworthy.) I went to 7 Day Dental's manager, [redacted]. twice (February 18 & 27), and emailed [redacted] (March 3) and [redacted] (March 5). My sit-in at corporate was March 10, 2015 -- with that date on top of the authorizations they FAXed. [redacted] put on the authorizations "February 26, 2015", on top of the letter, that was supposedly reviewed by [redacted]) On March 18, 2015, a filing clerk from 7 Day Dental called that they had just received the authorization. So: January 5 -- said would submit authorization February 26 -- date on authorization March 10 -- dentist and client have NOT received authorization, client's sit-in at corporate March 18 -- dentist receives authorization So, what was really happening between January 5 and March 18? When I was receiving my Deep Cleaning under [redacted], I asked for the account sheet -- which, also, stated they had billed and received $61.20 from [redacted] -- which was my allowance for x-rays and exams. My complaint was that they had lied to me that they would take [redacted] for a root canal, then used up all my allowance, so I could not go to another dentist on the list. I would have never allowed the x-rays if I had not been told they would do the root canal under [redacted] -- I would have gone to one of the other dentists. But, they continued the ruse, and said it would take 3 weeks for [redacted] to give the authorization for an endo consult and another 3 weeks for authorization for the root canal. Since I have the infection, it would be better for me to pay $120 for the endo consult, to speed things up. (It meant that I had to get food from the Food Bank.) It wasn't until after the endo consult that they told me that they would not do the root canaDesired Settlement: The easiest path would be to authorize [redacted] to see me;

do a filling on #30; and request an authorization for a crown on #29 --

or just do what needs to be done!

[redacted], already, has a file on me, and has my x-rays from the root canals of teeth #29 and #30.

The two root canals cost $920, so I have $580 left of my $1,500 annual allowance. Crowns cost $340.

Simple! And less expensive! Within budget! What's the problem? Why can't I find out who's in charge?

Review: I will never go to this dentist office again. My husband took me there Saturday because I have an infection. The girl at the front counter told me the visit would cost $98.00 which included a full mouth x-ray, an exam by the dentist and any prescription that was needed. We asked if we could get a discount if they could just write us a prescription and we got it filled it through my health insurance. She said no. The x-ray was not full mouth. It was just of the problem area. The dentist came in, touched my tooth with is finger (did not even look in my mouth), looked at the x-ray, and told me my tooth looked broken. He said he needed to remove it that day or I would get an infection would go down my neck, I would have to go to the emergency room, be put on heavy antibiotics and get a tracheotomy. I'm not a dentist, but I have had a swollen jaw because of a tooth problem before. I took antibiotics and it was cleared up. My husband and I both looked at the x-ray and nothing looked broken. After we were told it would cost $521.00 to have to tooth removed and $1951.00 for a bridge, we decided to try the antibiotics (since we were told they were included in the visit cost). After about a 30 minute wait, the nurse showed up with a slip for a prescription. We went to the front desk and told them we were told the medication was included. The nurse that helped us said they were not a pharmacy and could only give us the slip. We are argued that the girl (sitting by this nurse) told us we would give us a prescription. The nurse that told us that said " I am so sorry, I miss spoke". This place is a misleading rip off. Very disappointedDesired Settlement: We would like some kind of reimbursement for the false information we were given. But more important then that, we would like them reported for misleading information.

Complaint ID #[redacted]

Patient [redacted] was seen at our office for an emergency evaluation

on her lower right area. Upon checking in, our staff informed her that the

office visit including a limited exam and limited x-ray(s) of the emergency area

would be $98.00 and a prescription will be provided if needed. Patient

presented with an abscess. After reviewing her x-ray(s) and performing a limited

oral examination of her lower right area, Dr. [redacted] diagnosed tooth #30 to

be extracted. Our financial coordinator went over the recommended treatment along

with the fees and options. Patient declined all treatment and would only like a

prescription. Patient was under the impression that our office would dispense

the medication to her. Our staff explained to her that the Doctor

will provide her with a written prescription where she can take to a pharmacy

of her choice to have the medication filled. We also explained that a written

prescription is the standard procedure with most medical and dental offices and

we apologized if she missed understood. If

Mrs. [redacted] feels that she did not receive the best care from Dr. [redacted], our

office will provide her with a second opinion with any one of our panel of dentist at no additional charge to her.

Thank you for bringing this to our attention and I hope we

have answered all your concerns.

Unfortunately, there will be no refund granted at this time. Please

contact us at any time regarding this matter.

Sincerely,

Review: In 2007 I started treatment to have partial dentures. I was charged a total of $8,300.00 to place crowns and posts on some of my teeth because the dentist told me that I required that before the dentures can be placed. I received the completed dentures in May of 2007. I immediately complained that I could not eat with the dentures because there is a metal plate/bar in the middle and that they were uncomfortable. I was told by the dentist that I had to wear them and had to get used to them. Every time that I went back to the dentist's office I complained about the dentures and was repeatedly told to get used to them and apparently my complaints were not documented on my chart. During one of the dental appointments I saw a different dentist and she told me that the dentures were not correct and why did I ask them to be made this way. I told her that I did not have any say so in how they were made and I saw Dr. ** off to the side trying to shut her up. In the second to the last visit I saw Dr. ** and complained again about the dentures and he said that he would take care of them, so I scheduled another appointment in late 2011. On this last appointment I saw Dr. Le and he went back on his word and told me that he was not going to replace the dentures nor fix them, so I left and have not been back since. I did call my insurance company and told them my story and they could not help me due to the time frame. The insurance company said that I should've called them sooner. I did not call them at that time because I was still going to 7 Day Dental and complaining to them about the dentures and thought that since I was a patient since 2001 that they would fix them. I haven't gone back since 2011 because I have become disabled and have a difficult time getting around.Desired Settlement: I would like a refund or a workable replacement in which I don't have to spend another dime. I can't use the partial dentures that I paid for.

Complaint #[redacted]

We have read and understand Mr. [redacted] complaint. Please keep in mind that the last time Mr. [redacted] was seen in our office was October 18, 2011. His upper and lower partial dentures were made May 18, 2007 by Dr. [redacted] who was a Prosthodontist working with our office at that time. Our documentations do not indicate any patient desire of reimbursement at the time of service. There will be no refund given at this time. A courtesy consultation regarding this matter can be provided at no cost to him.

Sincerely,

Response:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

A consultation will not resolve this matter. I have a product that I cannot use/wear and I did not ask for a reimbursement at that time because no one would listen to me, so I am asking for a refund for the product that I paid for and cannot use. I can get another opinion from another dentist as to the partial dentures and bring this information to the 7 Day Dental office, if they want me to do that.
