54th Street Grill & Bar

my experience on Nov 15,2017 with 54th street was the absolute worse experience ever. I can never support any family food chain who have people who treat people of color with unprofessional behavior. Its very sad when the AREA DIRECTOR of a food chain DIRECTOR Nick *** would support the unprofessional behavior, without asking questions. I took the time to email the corporate office and how our table was targeted. I explained the unprofessional behavior received from the waitress Lindsey (who from the very beginning acted as if she did not want to wait on our table). I explained how I asked Lindsey if my wings were well done and she looked at me as if I was stupid and said we don't do that. Her behavior should not have been allowed. WE WERE customers. I explained to her that a little more pleasant behavior would be greatly appreciated from her. she walked away and then Greg (the manager on duty) came over to ask who called his waitress a RACIST. With myself and 6 other people at the table, we looked at him with shock. How or why would you even ask this question, ESPECIALLY, if you did not here anyone say this to your waitress. The behavior from this Manager was totally out of line. He approached our table, as if he was a BULLY and going to start a BAR FIGHT. He said to me that I was the one who called Lindsey a RACIST and that I needed to leave the restaurant and never return. I felt totally disrespected as a human being. I never called this young lady out of my name and no one at my table or around our table heard me say anything so disrespectful. Greg(the manager) said that he would call the police, and he did. he said to the dispatcher that I was belligerent and drunk. DEFAMATION of Character. This definitely was not true.. He was the one who caused a scene. there were 2 police officers inside eating and they did not hear any disturbance. They could not understand why Greg even called the police. No one at our table disrespected anyone at 54th, however we all felt violated. From my understanding from other ***S who have frequent this restaurant, GREG the manager is always asking ***S TO LEAVE AND NOT TO RETURN. So this was not his first time. Instead of the AREA MANAGER handling this at a professional level to investigate and he went along with GReg and told me I could never return. IS it because I am ***, BECAUSE I never called anyone RACIST or DISRESPECTED ANYONE HERE. Its sad that we had to experience this. GREG should not be a manager representing 54th STREEt. I knowh he's pretty new, but he should have ETHICS and a Professional attitude when interacting with people of any race. THERE WAS A PROBLEM THE MINUTE Our party sat down, the manager came over and asked us to quiet it down, the waitress Lindsey acted as if she did not want to wait on our table.. very unprofessional. and GREG behavior should not be tolerated.. I will never go here again .
