my husband, and I adopted a 1 to 2 year old female stray German Shepherd brought to Oregon Dog Rescue from California. We looked for training programs online and paid $100 for an hour of Kay M's time where she met *** and asked us about training goals. After the meeting *** and I decided to sign up for the special of $65 per session for 12 sessions for a total of $780. At this point we had had *** in our home for about 3 1/2 weeks. After 5 ½ weeks of having *** in our 1400 square foot townhome, we realized two things. First our place was far too small for this over 50 pound, very active puppy. With just a paver patio postage stamp size backyard, we had no place for *** to play, run, or exercise. Second, *** required more time and attention than we could possibly give her. *** works from home full time and I still work part-time. We made the very difficult and tearful decision that this just wasn’t fair or appropriate for us or for ***. Today, February 24, we returned her to Oregon Dog Rescue. Since Kay had only done three sessions with ***, I texted her asking how they would make the refund of our balance for the 9 unused training sessions. Kay’s response was, “We don’t offer refunds.” She made other suggestions, none of which had anything to do with the fact that she were keeping $585 of our money for services NOT provided. Today I went to Willamette Animal Hospital, Pet Smart and Amazon to return items purchased on behalf of *** that we could no longer use and all were immediately refunded. What reputable business does not refund money for services NOT PROVIDED?

I recently filed a complaint against a business with whom we had done business - 50Tree Canine Coaching. They had refused to refund money for services they did not provide. After I filed the complaint, they did in fact refund the money they had intended to withhold. Therefore, we would like to withdraw our complaint.
