The customer was fully aware of the $sink cutout chargeThey originally came in and told us they had square feetWhen we went and did the ACTUAL measurements, they had square feetAnyone can figure square feet so there is no lying thereWhen they originally had square feet and got a
quote from us at $per square foot, the total would have come to $if you do the mathLike she mentioned in the "complaint", we quoted her $That would include the $for sink cutout and taxWhen we finished our install on 3/20, the customer asked what the final was and had no questions about it, paid the final paymentWe got a letter weeks later they wanted $backThe customer was treated fairly and is happy with their granite installThere are no complaints thereThank you

That is correct like we talked about, you're measurements were correctYour calculations on how many square feet you had were off by square feetYou can figure it today and know that is a true statementThat is why your bill was more*** never admitted that she was wrong on the difference in pricing*** *** even told his wife while on the phone with *** that they were charged for the cutoutIf there is a difference on actual square feet obviously we will charge moreWe cannot go off of what the customer tells us, that is why we say it is a QUOTE until we come and get actual measurementsThe actual square footage was more, so the final price was more*** asked you for the written quote she gave you and you said you didn't get one it was just based on the square feet that you provided her which was incorrect*** gave you a copy of the down payment you made as a form of a receipt but nothing else was filled out on the formIf you would like to come in and we can go over the true square feet, we are more than happy to do that with you to show you where the extra cost came fromYour back splash was square feetThat had nothing to do with your incorrect calculationsThis is why we come and measure and you get a final price based on actual square feetAs much as you try to please EVERY customer, sometimes it is impossibleI am extremely glad that you are happy with your counter top installationWe have many reviews out there just like any other company and also a reason why we have an A rating on the Revdex.comOur number one goal is to please EVERY customer and make them 100% satisfiedWe install as many as 8-jobs days a week and will continue to make our customers happyThank you!

We did go out and finish the job. All is resolved.

we are trying to come last two weeks we setup the apt and she call us back and cancel it we can come this weekend when ever she wants thank you

I am rejecting this response because:First, let it be known to consumers that this business is unaccredited by the Revdex.com. It does have 3.8 stars (C+) out of 5 stars on Revdex.com reviews, but it remains unaccredited. We never said we were happy with our countertops. I never touched on this at all, as my complaint regards pricing and deceptive sales practices. But since the business claims we were happy, I’ll address that now. I would give 5 Stars Granite about 3.5 out of 5 stars for its countertops. There was a small chip on the bevel next to the sink, and they didn’t tell us until after the countertops were installed that we needed to seal them within 24-48 hours. They also said we were getting a “free” sink but didn’t say there was a $300 fee for the sink cut-out! This isn’t a free sink; it’s a $300 sink!  My biggest complaint is that they didn’t give us a final price until AFTER the countertops were already installed. As the Revdex.com can plainly see from our phone records, we had no contact with this business (us calling them or them calling us) after February. They DID NOT CALL to give us a final price after the installer came to measure our counters. They never called us again! So naturally we assumed that the price was close to or equal to their estimate. The installer called 5 Stars Granite from our house using his cell phone on 3/20/18, AFTER the countertops were installed, and [redacted] called him back on his cell phone to give him a price, which he gave to my wife. She called me at work and told me the new/different price, and I told her to go ahead and write the check, that it wasn’t the installers’ fault. I said that we would take the matter up with the business, that they seem like reasonable people and that we should be able to work this out fairly quickly. I called them on 3/20/18 when I got home from work. [redacted] said she would call back. She didn’t. Six days went by and we hadn’t heard from them. So I sent them a letter on 3/26/18, after not hearing back from them. The owner’s offer for us to come in and go over the “true square feet” is a joke. We can’t pick up our countertops and take them into the business to be measured. It just won’t work. If the owner is serious about working out the difference in square footage, he is welcome to come to our house and re-measure. I don’t see that happening, as I don’t believe he is willing to admit that he was wrong about not giving us a price until AFTER the countertops were installed, which is pretty easy to prove.

The customer has been taken care of. We were unaware of any issues until we were contacted by the Revdex.com. We met with the customer and fixed her issue  on Saturday, October, 21, 2017. Please let me know if you have any other questions about this issue. Thank you.
