To Whom It May Concern: I again hear and read [redacted] complaint with her car and I'll again tell her that when the vehicle was in warranty and even after the warranty period I had that vehicle running goodIt sounds like to me that she has had another fuel injector to start leaking and with that she may be smelling some fuel from that I do know that it is not too expensive to fix If [redacted] thinks it has to do with the repair we made back when it was repaired under warranty I am letting her know now to drop the vehicle off at the car lot and I will go over the car one more time and make sure she has no injectors leaking and get her vehicle back up to speed as a courtesy for the business her and [redacted] have done with us in past years She can call [redacted] to set an appointment to get it done as soon as she wants to I don't know how to be anymore fairer than that Sincerely Auto Sales
I understand the customer feels her complaint is not resolvedWe are very sorry about thisWe have provided all the detail necessary to show that:The customer received more than 1hour of service (70-minutes to be exact)The excursion ended early due to approaching storms (radar screen submitted previously)The customer has refused to accept a credit voucher; which is our standard policy for weatherWe did discuss this issue with the camp's director and agreed to offer a credit voucher for the unused portion of the excursionAbove and beyond our standard weather policy, the customer was given a partial refund on 7/31/so that she is only paying for 1hour of service ($30} + gratuity of $(even though she received at least minutes)The customer is mistaken that we ended any prior year excursion earlyTo the best of my knowledge, Delmarva Board Sports has never ended a Mid-Atlantic Field Hockey paddle boarding excursion early except for due to weatherIn prior years, children may have become tired or voluntarily wanted to end early to return to camp to prepare for dinner, but we have never ended prematurelyWe have made our entire professional guide staff available to support this summer camp for the entire length of the allotted timeframe for the excursionThe weather issue did not impact children; it impacted approximately half of those childrenThe second day of paddle boarding which was attended by the second half of the participants was not cut short due to weatherThey received the full time allotted by the campWe have made all reasonable attempts to address the customer's concern; however we are unwilling to provide services to the customer for 50% offWe feel it is reasonable that the customer pay for the services rendered We provided over 1hour of service and her net charge was for 1hour of service + gratuityWe feel this was a reasonable resolutionAgain, our prices are completely in line with industry standards with in our marketGratuity is a very standard and reasonable practice in any service industry; especially for large groupsOur policy is to add gratuity for groups of or moreWe maintain that it is our responsibility to safely remove children (and our employees) from the water when a storm is approaching; therefore, our staff followed proper protocolWe have provided evidence of the storm previouslyPerhaps in the future the customer should review weather policies and procedures of companies before signing her child up for watersport excursions Our weather policy is clearly noted on our website and was verbally shared with any parent who asked during the registration process. In the future we will detail our weather policy and have each participant initial that policy in #of the Release of Liability Waivers signed by parents (customer's waiver attached)

Regards,
*** ***To Whom This May Concern* *** * *** purchased a Chevy Impala from Auto Sales on October 20th I had sold my Chrysler Breeze to my son for $because they would not take in on trade inAt that time I was told I would need at least a thousand down on any of the vehicles Once my son gave me the $I went up to Auto Sales, gave her the cash and she asked if I could get $more, then stated that she got me approved for $ I went to my bank and withdrew the other amount They placed a temporary tag on the car, signed the paperwork and I drove the Impala while the person with me drove the Chrysler I was told on 10-20-that I had a day warranty About a week later started hearing a whistle coming from under the drivers side of the vehicle and stared smelling gas, that was entering the inside of the car So I got out and the smell was more intense Went up to and *** told me that it must be the catalytic converter Then said its not mechanical but I will fix it I offered to buy a new one and he said save your money I'll take care of it Friday I took the vehicle up and my step son picked me and his father up to take us home When he dropped it off he said just took it down the interstate the smell of gas is gone but there will be an odor from where a friend of mine and I bored out the converter it should run just fine I have this converter that he asked for it back Said if anyone else has this problem I can switch them out and save cash Once I put the new converter on the car ran great The gas odor remained I expressed to ** *** *** *** *hat I did not feel safe having my grand daughter in the car *** *** is a wonderful person and told *** about the smell He told her by telephone to have me stop back by when he wasn't so busy Seemed like he was avoiding me January the Impala had absolutely no power and the smell of gas was intense Took the car to him, he drove it and said bring it back on Friday so I can get an appointment to get the head fixed Told him I will need a vehicle to use till it gets fixed His wife called me back and I had to sign more paperwork on a Chrysler New Yorker The *** made sure I knew to have it back in fourteen days, while they put the new head in the Chevy Impala Nothing else was done I was called to come up and pick the car up at Auto Sales with the guarantee that the car was fixed I got in it and go towards the *** *** ** *** *** Smoke started pouring out from under the hood and the exhaust I made it to the *** ***t that is less than five miles from Auto Sales pull up to the pump and waited for the smoke to clear so I could open the hoodOnce the hood was opened and the smoke cleared I checked to see which hose or hoses was loose I didn't see any Put gas in the vehicle and proceeded to make it back to Auto Sales The smoke was so bad I could not see and pulled over at the *** *** *** *** Called and spoke to *** *** *old her what had happened and she came by to get me They did let me take the New Yorker and was called the next day that morning I took their car back and *** apologized, told me they did not connect a hose and should showed me where he glued and clamped the hose He had me get into the passenger side of the Impala and drove up to th* *** turned pointI asked him about the steering wheel jerking like I had complained about beforeRotters and wheel barrings that was back in December He said tell me you aren't one of these people that something makes a squeak or a noise you have you have to get fixed because you will go broke from fixing everything If it works don't fix itThe vehicle was purchased for $add the taxes, dealer business license, license fee, title fee and title tax of $they added on $that brought the amount to $then subtracted $that should have brought it down to $not $Does not show where $went Every extra amount of money I get I put into this car and it still isn't fixed The first complaint of gas fumes was never resolved and now I could die from it not being fixed from this owner of Auto Sales Like he said if it works and not broken don't fix it I've had to replace catalytic converters from when he bored out the original one, changed the oil, several times to find gasoline in it, spark plugs and wires, wheel barring, rotors, brakes etc I know and realize this is a used car lot and in due time like with any vehicle items will need to be replaced but not as soon as you purchase the vehicle *** insisted that I take the vehicle, Chevy Impala, to his mechanic to be worked on, I took the vehicle to my mechanic and another to be told that a spider, a part on fuel injection system, would cause fuel to go into oil and make the car stop running if not replacedI have complained about the gas fumes to *** ***s since October I asked him to place me in another vehicle and told him of all the problems To get after avoiding me for weeks, "Your warranty is up, I will not do anything else for you on this vehicle." *** *** was going to put me in another vehicle when *** ***s told her to tell me I could not afford to be in another vehicle This was before the days I believe that if *** *** had a mechanic on his property then each customer would be treated the way most used car lots should be treated In all reality, no one would be harmed if he did that instead of rigging vehicles the way he does I have only been late (days) on one payment, because *** *** needed a voided check, that I forgot to mail in Plus I was born in *** *** *** I am years of age Everything on this letter is true to the best of my knowledge *** ***P.SI have developed light headedness problems with my vision, chest pains and many other problems from the gas fumes Hard time thinking and have contacted an attorney Now will be subject to many tests and waiting for the COblood poisoning tests to be sent to me

This is obviously not about the money as it
is not even $in disputeThis is about a company that has taken money for services that weren’t provided years in a row nowOne can only assume that this may be an indication that this is more common than the incidents that we know aboutWhen parents drop their kids off at the Mid-Atlantic Camp, we pay in advance for the paddle boarding excursionThen most parents leave and do not see their children again until the camp is overSo only a few parents, the ones who stayed at the beach while our daughters attended camp, are aware of the shortened time of the excursionsI am sure that when these girls return home, they say that paddle boarding was funThe girls definitely enjoyed itHowever, that is not my complaintMy complaint is that we paid for hours and received hourI highly doubt that the parents who dropped their girls off at camp were ever made aware of the fact that they didn’t receive the full hours that they paid forThe lacking ethics of this company were clear through their responseThe owner, ***, stated that they only offered the $refund to myself and my friends who also paid for their daughtersBecause full services weren’t provided, a reputable company would have refunded or offered vouchers to the other parents who paid for hours and received hourI know that the week my daughter was at camp this year, of the campers did the paddle board excursionThat is quite a bit of extra money for services not fulfilledIf this happened each week that there is summer camp there, that adds up to quite a rip offAnd they never have to answer to parents because parents are none the wiserI didn’t complain last year when it happened because it just wasn’t worth the few dollars to me, but when it happened AGAIN this year, I had to speak upEven if nothing is resolved, at least people will be made aware of their dishonest practices in regards to the Mid-Atlantic CampThey took full advantage of the situationI am sure that *** will deny thisAnd in regards to the gratuity mentioned, there was ABSOLUTELY NO MENTION of gratuity in the pamphlet that they gave us when we signed our daughters up and paidAnd when we asked about why it was more this year, the woman representing this company NEVER SAID ANYTHING about gratuityIt sounds like they needed an excuse for the increase when we called them out on it and gratuity was all that they could think of as an excuse for overcharging families (the week we were there)***, the owner, constantly brings up the fact that his employees transported and carried boards to and from the beachFirst of all, that is included in the fee we paid and if it isn’t, then it should be spelled out in the brochureBut we were told that we were paying for hours of paddle boarding, periodSecond, after our girls were called in from paddle boarding both this year AND last year, each girl carried her OWN paddle board and life jacket back to their company’s van because they asked them to do it and our girls obliged*** cannot deny thisFinally, as a mother, I am disgusted by the owner’s insinuations about me as a parentI would not ever put my child in a dangerous situation and the fact that he stated that getting my “money’s worth” was more important than my daughter’s safety is just reprehensibleHe should be ashamed of himself for trying to shift blame to avoid facing consequencesWhether or not this is resolved, if justice is not served now, one day he will have to answer for his dishonestyIt is unfortunate but it is what it is
I have been in business for years in the same location and try to treat all my customers fairly I always honor my day warranty which I think every customer can understand Most of the time I even go beyond the warranty period I sold ** *** *he Chevy Impala in Oct
and if she had any trouble with the vehicle I was surely gonna take care of it and I did The only complaint I can remember is the converter that we cleaned and it did not take care of the problem I then took it to the garage that does all our service and warranty work and they found the problem It was a fuel injector that was leaking and we had them replace it and the vehicle run great after that I took care of everything under warranty as I am required by law to do which I would want to I am enclosing a copy of the warranty which you'll see is days or 1,miles after the date of dale She has put thousands of miles on this vehicle and it has been months since I sold her that vehicle The problem is almost always financial issues that cause a customer to come back to a dealer wanting us to spend money when something has to be done on their car I know the vehicle was fixed back when we fixed it because the injector that was leaking was causing the vehicle to miss while driving and after the head was checked and the injector was replaced the vehicle run out great and *** *** knows that it did Many miles later and months later if a customer has something come up with their vehicle they need to take car of it She probably has put 10,miles or even more on this vehicle since she purchased it I can't continue to take care of it when I know she has put that kind of miles on it I've been more than fair I now want to answer her continued complaint that she gave "these people" $cash and then went to the bank and gave us $cash What is wrong with *** *** She has her bill of sale right in front of her when she started her complaint She can see she paid $down on this car The only other money she paid us was her tax, title fees that foes to the *** ** *** *** I am very sorry ** *** has all her business affairs crossed up but I certainly can't agree with her At the sake of respecting her I can not comment on what she is doing Bottom line she is wanting money back for cash she didn't had us and something take off her credit sounds like she has fallen behind on paying for the car with the finance company and they reported it to the credit bureau I guess she'll have to go after them next I am not dealing with ** *** *nymore She is only years old There is no sense in this I also wished they the law makers would abolish the lemon law That confuses customers so many times Sincerely Auto Sales by Teddy Adkins-Owner
To Whom It May Concern: I again hear and read [redacted] complaint with her car and I'll again tell her that when the vehicle was in warranty and even after the warranty period I had that vehicle running good. It sounds like to me that she has had another fuel injector to start leaking and with that she may be smelling some fuel from that. I do know that it is not too expensive to fix. If [redacted] thinks it has to do with the repair we made back when it was repaired under warranty I am letting her know now to drop the vehicle off at the car lot and I will go over the car one more time and make sure she has no injectors leaking and get her vehicle back up to speed as a courtesy for the business her and [redacted] have done with us in past years. She can call [redacted] to set an appointment to get it done as soon as she wants to. I don't know how to be anymore fairer than that. Sincerely 460 Auto Sales
