Review: I paid a $1500 deposit on an apartment in [redacted]). After the end of my stay, I was told I would receive my deposit back. See the following email:"[redacted].It has been a pleasure having you with us. With the big day approaching so quickly I would like to go over a few things with you. As per the lease and house rules, the apartment must be throroughly cleaned including the Bathroom, floors, all appliances, and your bedding, (all fitted and flat sheets and pillow covers, but (not the mattress cover) must be laundered. If you are not able to do so, we will do it for you. The apartment cleaning is $185.00 and laundering sheets is $35.00. If the apartment is clean but the appliances are not, they are $65 per appliance. If you take this option it will be accounted against your security deposit. See lease/rider. Turn off all lights and the A/C unit. When you leave, please lock the door and submit all keys to [redacted] at **. It is not a bad idea to make an appointment with [redacted] now to make sure he will be available when you are ready to submit your keys. If you are leaving at a time when he is not home, as long as you have arranged with him you can slide the keys in under his door. After you leave, the apartment will be inspected, usually within a week or two. It will be well documented and you will be receive a copy. Leave me a way to return your security deposit, such as address to mail a check out, or whatever new york bank for a transfer, etc. For any further inquiries do not hesitate to contact me. I wish you well in your future endevours, have a pleasant trip, and if your path ever brought you back this way, it would be a pleasure to have you with us again.[redacted], ###-###-####[redacted]"He initially responded but once I began asking for my deposit back he no longer responded.Desired Settlement: I would just like my $1500 deposit back as per lease agreement.
