If you are considering using *** as your contractor, RUN, don't walk away!! His company did a major remodel on our home 20 years ago, and we have spent the last 18 years spending thousands more to correct all of the major corners he cut (without our knowledge).
We have replaced all of the exterior French doors and the hardwood floors that were ruined by the leaks in the substandard doors he installed. (Not the doors that we okayed, but I was too young and naive to realize it at the time.) We have now just discovered that all of the doors and windows were trimmed out in MDF, instead of real wood or another suitable product suitable for exterior use. The result? Dry rot in both the windows and wood siding. Every time we think that we have corrected his dishonest and shoddy work, something else comes to light.
