I spoke with 3C's catering company in Tampa, Florida over the phone in Jan. 2020 to do a rehearsal for me in March 20, 2020. We agreed on the menu, time, location and price ( $1093.73) and over the phone. They were paid in full for a service, but due to the Coronavirus pandemic, under to order of the President of the United States, and the county's rulings the event it was ordered to be canceled. We spoke with the accompany requesting a refund, but they denied us. They told us our only option was to use them at a later date. We do not live in the areas and we were was coming from out of town to begin with.
They claimed that I signed a contact, but that was NOT true. The contact they provide was with someone else, the day of service was on a different day, the event was different, and the location of where the food was going to be delivered was different. No where on the contact is my initials or signature. I NEVERED SIGNED A CONTRACT WITH THEM !
This company should not be able to keep my money when they did provide the service I was asked for them to do. How many other individuals did they keep their money as well. It would not surprise me if not only did this company keep my money, but they also filed with the government for help for "so called" loss of income.

Refund I want my full refund back for the service for which I paid ( $1093.73), but did not get.
We met with this client and her son on 12-23-19 to discuss catering a wedding rehearsal dinner on 3-20-20. We were already contracted with her son and his fiancé to cater their wedding On 3-21-20. At that meeting we supplied her with an estimate *** for this event. On 1-2-20 she phoned our office and told us she wanted to book us for the rehearsal dinner and she gave us her credit card info to charge for the deposit (Credit card receipt attached for record). We did not have her fill out and sign a contract for the rehearsal dinner as it was in addition to the wedding reception we already had a contract on. I assume the contract from the wedding reception is the one she is referencing as we NEVER sent her a contract. It is indeed in another person's name, her sons and fiancés names. We did not hear from her again until 3-6-20 when she again called our office to give us her final count and go over final details for the rehearsal dinner. On 3-6-20 we emailed her a credit card authorization form to fill out (attached for record) for the balance of $593.73 and she filled it out and faxed it back in the same day. We have not heard anything else from this person since 3-6-20. Her son called us on 3-17-20 to discuss the options he had for cancelling or rescheduling both the rehearsal on 3-20-20 and the wedding reception on 3-21-21. We even discussed the possibility of us bringing food to them at their home almost 3 hours away. On 3-18-20 her son sent me the following text "Wanted to confirm we are set to reschedule for March 21st 2021, and that my mom xxxxxxx xxxxxxx (x' to protect clients identity) who is paying the rehearsal dinner on March 20th is set to reschedule as well 100%". I replied back making sure both events were at the same venue as before and he replied back that they were. (Screen shot of texts attached for record) (We NEVER told this client she could not have money back as they decided to reschedule the event.) So we updated our records and calendar to show that both events had been rescheduled to 2021 That was the last communication we have had in regards to this event until this Revdex.com complaint was sent to us. This person has not called, emailed or communicated with us in any way since she paid the balance on 3-6-20. We have only heard from her son on the rescheduling. And because she felt the need to insinuate we have kept money from other clients I would like to say, we HAVE NOT kept any money from any clients that had to cancel or rescued due do COVID-19. Out of over 150 events, all but 2 rescheduled with no issues. The 2 that cancelled got their monies refunded to them. It is extremely upsetting that this person chose to not contact us to discuss the event that we are now assuming is canceled.
