I figured out I had promotional membership so it did not have the cbs all access. I am upgrading to the regular annual membership to have access to the cbs all access. You have to persevere with this company to acquire results. I now have access to cbs all access. This has been resolved.
I paid for an annual subscription to The***, a 24/7 site. My posting rights were permanently removed without warning, and no refund issued
I paid for a one year subscription to The*** / 24/7 Sports' *** Website on 12/16/2019.
In late March of this year, one of the owners of this site - *** - blacklisted me permanently.
I had never been blacklisted / suspended from the site previously, nor had any other adverse actions been taken against my account previously.
There were several threads popping up regarding political topics. In those threads, I followed the rules of the board - I did not attack other posters or take any other actions that violated the board rules. I was personally attacked, my wife was personally attacked, posters threatened both my wife and myself... multiple registered users of *** hurled threats and personal attacks at me directly. No action was taken against these users.
*** stated that political threads and statements would no longer be allowed. *** did not permanently remove the posters that made violent threats towards my family and myself, yet he did permanently remove me without ANY warning or prior notice, simply for reposting something I was not informed had been removed by ***.
Another poster shared a video on yet another thread that expressed political sentiments. I commented on that thread and shared another video from a former police officer that offered a different viewpoint.
Later, when I looked at the thread again, my post was not there. I assumed the post had not gone through, so I posted it again. I was not informed that my post had been removed by ***. I had zero notification whatsoever.
After that, I was contacted by *** via PM. After insulting me several times and providing the exact opposite of anything even resembling customer service, *** informed me that I was permanently blacklisted from the site, and that my posting privileges would never be restored.
*** said that I had repeatedly criticized the moderation of the board. In truth, I had only written a single post - which does not justify a permanent ban.
However, I did not know that *** had deleted my previous post. I never received any notification that he had deleted my post, that I was violating board rules, or anything similar.
*** said the ban was, "...for consistently calling out the moderation of this site in a public manner." It was one post. One single post.
Before I knew it, I was permanently black listed.
The reality is that I only made one post that was critical of the moderation. That post was removed without my knowledge, so I assumed it simply hadn't been posted in the first place. I posted it again, and was instantly and permanently banned from the site.
*** was exceedingly rude and insulted me in his ***.
*** also shared the *** of other posters with me via PM for some reason. That seems like a violation of their privacy.
Bottom line is this: *** lost his temper and treated me differently than other members of the site. I was threatened with violence and those posters weren't punished. I was not given any kind of warning, suspension, or any other action prior to *** instantly deciding to permanently blacklist me from the site. I didn't even know he had removed my post because he simply didn't inform me.
I want a refund of my annual subscription. If I had been given some kind of warning, any kind of indication that I was violating the rules, I wouldn't have reposted that one post. Whatever I did wrong, I did not deserve to be personally attacked and insulted by ***, either.
*** and the other owners consistently push their political narrative in a place that people go to for sports information. A non-24/7 political podcast was pinned at the top of the board for months. Sports boards should not state political affiliations, and no customer should be treated as poorly as *** treated me.
Please issue my refund immediately.
I simply want a full refund of my annual subscription. I was permanently blacklisted, posting privileges revoked the FIRST time I violated board rules. Other posters violated board rules multiple times and received warnings, suspensions, and other progressive actions. I was treated differently by*** because he is unprofessional and lost his temper. Please issue my full refund immediately.
Not sure what happened, but I definitely DO want the Revdex.com to help me get resolution for this issue.
The correspondence I received from Revdex.com indicated that I had NOT requested the Revdex.com to help with this issue - but I definitely DO want the Revdex.com to help.

The site moderator agreed to make an exception this time by giving the user another chance by reinstating his posting privileges on the site. I paid the business an annual fee for a service and since they've stopped providing that service, I've requested a pro-rated refund.
I paid 247 sports an annual fee to engage in message board forums specially within their*** sports forum community. In May of this year (10 May 20) I renewed my annual subscription, which will extend through next year 10 May 21. The primary reason for my membership, which is well documented in private exchanges with the site staff long before the issue arose, was via one specific forum called "***" which is where*** men's basketball discussion and interaction took place. While this specific forum was free, I loved the community there and felt it worthwhile to supplement the 247 staff by contributing to their paycheck with my membership. Many of the customers on the *** site were not paying customers, but that community itself was valuable enough to me that I became a paying member regardless.
In June of this year (XXXX) the decision was made to remove the *** board. There was no prior announcement, no discussion, no warning. When customers have inquired about it, very little details were given, just stating that "the changes were made from 247 headquarters and its for the longterm betterment of the site." While I disagree, it's not my business so I understand that I am not privy to information the decision makers had and while disagreed, can accept that they felt the need for the change. That said, I explained to them that they killed the community and thus the very reason I joined/paid for the service in the first place. Killing that forum, whatever the reason, killed the value of my membership. Had I known this back in May, I certainly would not have paid for a year of service. Thus after a few days of watching how the new board would function, I requested to cancel my account with a pro-rated refund for the months unused.
Customer service responded with a boilerplate answer about all the great features I get as a paying member, and an offer to extend my membership even a few months into the future for free. I responded with a question about whether my e-mail was even read. I didn't/don't want "more" of a service I no longer value based on a significant change they made, I either want the original service that I signed up for, or if not, a refund. And I didn't ask for a full refund, just a pro-rated one from the present time. Customer service responded again with a terse email explaining they cancelled membership, effective May 21, and that I could contact my credit card company to dispute the charge to my account if I wanted.
The annual membership I paid 247 sports on 11 May was $116.26. While the primary feature was taken away in late June, I've still accessed other functions since then. What I would like is my account terminated effective immediately, and a pro-rated refund for the remainder of my balance since the service I primarily signed up for no longer exists. That would equate to somewhere around $100.

I cancelled and they will not refund my account. They charged me again this year and now won't refund this year!
I have repeatedly asked the company 247SPORTS to cancel our subscription, all last year. They assured me it was cancelled, I was not able to access any information on their website. I asked for a refund but they refused to refund anything to me.
Now AGAIN THIS YEAR, they have done the same thing. I reminded them in January, 2020 that I DID NOT WANT to continue with their 247SPORTS. They said I was cancelled, so I did not look into it any further. Well, I was cancelled for 2019 and did not get a refund nor did I get access to their website.
Now, I see they have charged me for 2020. I did not ask for 2020 service or information. I assumed I was still cancelled from 2019.
However, I see now that they did indeed charge me for another year on March 24, 2020 in the amount of $107.40. Please refund this amount back to me immediately! They had no right to keep charging me.
I called XXX-XXX-XXXX in April, 2020 several times. I followed prompts on recorded message machine and was put on hold. The recording said it would automatically hang up after 15 minutes. Several times it hung up on me.
I called several more times in May and the same thing. You just get a recording and message machine, nobody calls back, and it hangs up on you after holding for 15 minutes. At that point, I began sending emails to ***@247sports.com. I sent at least six or seven emails. I never received any response from them. Same thing happened last year; no response to my repeated phone call or emails.
TODAY, I called again and someone did answer. They said I was indeed cancelled for 2020 per my request. However, they again said they would not refund my money.
I am really concerned about the ethics of this company. Two years in a row, I have tried to cancel this, but each year I get charged $107.40. The company should REFUND both years of money to me, but they say, "we can't refund a partial transaction." However, I was certainly cancelled for this year way back in 2019, but they charged me again. They do this year after year. They cancel me, but then they just charge it again the next year. This has got to stop. They are fraudulently charging my card each year!

Unauthorized Charge after documented cancellation. Notified same month the charge occurred and would not reverse. Atrocious customer service.
Cancelled service in September.
They replied with an offer to extend my subscription until 1/1/20.
I countered they can do that but I do not authorize any further charges as I have cancelled my account.
The moment I see the charge in January I contact the customer service to remind them I have cancelled and reverse the charge.
They declined.
I have never encountered a service notified immediately of an unauthorized charge to not reverse and refund it.
No wonder the reviews are so bad across the internet with this company.
Just refund the charge. The company was notified immediately the same month I was put on notice of the unauthorized charge. No services or goods were used or passed during the brief time the subscription was open during the unauthorized charge period. Just do the right thing.

Cannot get in contact with customer service.
My renewal is set for 12/3. I've calledd 4 times today which is 12/2, the first time I was told it was going to be a 2 minute wait, about 5 minutes goes by and another automated response says 2 more minute wait time, then they said no agents available at this time, try again later. The next 3 times, they just said no agent available. I just emailed them explaining this but they require two day prior notification to cancel, since I'm calling today, they probably won't honor that so I really need to get a hold of this company today. If no one can pick up the phone, I can't cancel. If I get billed, I'm contacting my credit card company and reporting this as an unauthorized charge.
CANCEL MY SUBSCRIPTION. If you don't honor my right to do this and charge me, I'll take additional action.

Tried to cancel sub day before renewal but got no answer after 6 tries.
My sub was set to renew on the 14th of the month. I placed calls on the 13th only to be hung up on after waiting for several minutes. This happened several times. I never actually got to a person, the automated system, after waiting for awhile, would hang up on me. After trying twice an hour for a total of six times, I gave up. I tried again today and was connected with a person. I asked them to cancel and to now refund the charge that had hit because I tried to do it the day before. All t hey would tell me is they cancel it but "per terms" they don't do refunds. All they wanted to do was talk over me when I tried to tell them about my situation. I spoke first to a gentleman and then a woman who was supposedly his supervisor. The woman hung up on me after I became angry. I'm still not sure if it was cancelled and I know they aren't refunding it.

I emailed over a month ago to cancel my account and I received an email back saying it had been completed. I've been charged twice.
I logged into the account for the first time in several months today to try to figure out the issue but I emailed at the beginning of Jan to cancel and was told it was done. I've been charged for every month since that request including Jan, which is twice.

I was charged for 3 months of use and didn't receive or use service
I received an offer for 7 months free for the price of 1 as an introduction to the website. This was in May 2018. It run out at the end of the year. I assumed that that was the end of it but starting in Jan.2019, Feb. 2019 March 2019 I was billed a monthly figure on my credit card of $9.95 a month for the next 3 months, now 4 months counting April. I didn't notice it until March because of other charges on my credit card. I have received this months bill and the 4th month is due on April 17 2019. I called them today to explain the situation. I haven't used the service because I thought it cancelled on Dec. 2018 the end of the promotion. I ask to speak to a manager, he was rude when I told him that I cancelled my account and wanted a credit on my bill. He became rude I became rude. I will acknowledge I did not read the terms of the contract because I don't understand the thing anyway. Most people don't. I certainly understand why their credit rating is so low because it looks like I wasn't the only one jilted with this balogna. They should be made to contact by phone or email if there will be further charges on your credit card. They know by hiding it they can take undue advantage of this with most accounts. RUDE
I ask the manager for an adjustment or credit for the 3 months billed. The total is $28.50. But its not the money, its the way they conduct themselves with the public that burns my hiny. I only ask for credit because if enough people scammed by this would bring it to there attention then they might change there policy and they other reason is they treated me with no respect.

Roy took advantage of a promotion when he signed up last August. We told him when he signed up the next time he would be charged, if he did not cancel. His subscription was canceled when he first contacted us on 4/2/2019. We have made a one time exception with a refund for the past three charges.

I have documentation from *** with 247 Sports, confirming my subscription cancellation. I was just charged again for another month.
I reached out to [email protected] on February 12th at 4:35PM EST to request the cancellation of my monthly subscription to their website. At 4:59 PM EST, I received a message back from a "Shared Service Team 2" that asked if there was a particular reason in cancelling my account. At 5:00 PM EST I responded back, saying I do not use the service any longer. At 5:29PM EST I received another message from the same "Shared Service Team 2" where they offered to extend my rebill date until August 1, 2019. Again, I declined that offer on February 13th at 3:51 PM EST. At 3:55 PM EST, I received an email back from "***" that read:

Today, I logged into my online banking and noticed a charge listed for 247 services, despite having written documentation of my service cancellation. I attempted reaching out to the service phone number, and the phone number listed here on the Revdex.com website for "***". Mr. voicemail box is not set up, so a message cannot be left, and the call is forwarded to voicemail immediately as well. I was on hold for over 10 minutes with the service phone number before being told no one was available to assist.
I need to be refunded the $9.95 charge that has been charged to my account on 03/31/2019. Failure to do so will result in me reporting this company's transactions as fraudulent and also filing a complaint with the FCC.

NEVER subscribe to 247sports !! As all of the other disappointed subscribers have commented previously, I too believe they have poor customer service and business practises. They renewed my membership ( which I only used a few times) without notice or my approval. I dialed the 800 number many times and was never able to reach anyone. I finally emailed support and I did receive an email response that they cancelled my membership for the year, but would NOT refund me! I have filed a fraud dispute with my credit card company. They are misleading, and you can get your sports news in many other places! DON'T SUBSCRIBE!!

On 3/15/19 I was posting on a blog on Peegs about a recruit. I said that The only thing this changes for me is trust and beliefs for the writers on this site. One of the writers took offense and said that he was going to leave it there for everyone to see the attack that I made. I told him it was not directed at him and that he is the best in the business and that if you don't have thick skin then you are in the wrong business. Well one of the other writers took off with that and started degrading and calling me names on the forum. I asked him why he called me pathetic but by than other contributors where cussing me and name calling. Gee and you wonder why I've lost trust in the writers? It was totally out of line for this to happen. I pay to be a contributor on this site and that means I am here to voice my opinion in a way that is not verbally abusive to anyone on this site and there are rules that are in place to protect all of the members against name calling and verbal abuse but there is no one there to protect you against the writers or moderators of this site. I also expect the moderators of this site to not blacklist me for the reason of being attacked by a writer on this site. One person says can we get rid of this *** and just like that my money is gone and the privilege of being on this site contributing to what I love is gone. The stress that comes with this experience is unbelievable. We come here to alleviate stress not compound it!
In the first couple years I was a member I paid month to month. Then they had a special where if you paid a year you got a month free. Well of course that to them means they can now blacklist you and there will be no reason to worry about your money because they already have it and there is no one to file a complaint with. This is a sad and depressing excuse for a chain of command!! For what it is worth I wrote well over 10 messages to writers on the site and the mane contributor or writer *** and I still am waiting to hear back from him. What a mess this site full of keyboard bullies is. Hopefully I will be able to post pictures of the attack by the writer and contributors. Is what I wrote sweet? NO. Is it degrading ? absolutely not.
I want the original service that I was promised by *** when he told me this was the best Indiana basketball site out there and I should give it a go. I want to be left alone by the the writers and more important the sit mediators to whom have done this to me before and continue to wait for one little thing they can block me for. I want a full refund as a show of wrong doing by the site administrator for not responding to my messages. I want a apology written to me from Matt Weaver for his unprofessional attack on me. I am well aware that none of this will happen and that is fine but others need to know what is going to happen to there money if they have any complaints about the service they are receiving. This simply is the easy response and it is absolutely 100% not true. I did not break any rules. Again all I did was say I had lost trust in the writers of the site at that point I was attacked by writers. To make this process easier why don't we go ahead and share copies of the comments that were made. It would probably save a lot of trouble with the he said she said? I've got an idea, why don't you stick up for your reader? What has been taken away from me is far more than $75. I have lost many friends and I am saddened by the untruth of this reply and the loss of communication with theses friends...

Ban from reading or posting on forum of The *** with no explanation from moderator.
Bluerick, a moderator from The *** affliated with 247 sports banned my account from posting on the board because of swearing. While I am ok with the 30 day ban, he himself has not followed the board rules and has a free reign. I had to message others in order to find out why I got banned in the first place. Furthermore, a couple days later, I was banned from reading the board all together. I have been given no explanation for this and there is no plausible reason for this ban. This is the main service people buy the subscription through 247 sports for. I have contacted 247 sports, The *** headman Sam W, Bluerick(the moderator who banned) and other moderators. I have either not gotten a satisfactory response or haven't received a response at all from any of them regarding the bad. I still have 5 months left on my subscription and would like to be refunded for those 5 months. Around $60 as a one year subscription is around $150.
I would like a refund of $60 for the remaining 5 months of my subscription.

The response is correct by saying if you break a rule you are subject to a ban. However, an explanation should be given by the moderators and and their were none. I accept the response, however, there has not been a 60 dollar credit made yet. So I cant have the case closed.

I attempted to cancel subscription prior to the automatic renewal. The terms require verbal cancellation. They don't answer phone or respond to email.
Subscription is due to expire 2/19. I've been attempting to cancel prior to the auto billing. I can not reach a representative to execute the cancellation.

I wanted to cancel my account but they are still charging me for another month for no reason.
I cancelled my account on January 2nd and I requested a full refund of my account as I have no interest in using the service at the current rate. I cannot afford the current price at $10 a month. I was willing to continue the service at $10 for 3 months, which is what I agreed on. The support staff member informed me in email that my account would be charged at $10 a month on January 1st. With that date being a holiday, I was only able to cancel on January 2nd. Unfortunately, 247 is saying that I have to remain a subscriber for the remainder of the month as they can't refund my credit card for some reason. I am not interested in continuing service at the current rate. Please refund my credit card and stop with the deception.
I want my credit card fully refunded. I did not want to be charged $10 a month for this service.

Credit Card Charged Before Free Trial Period Ended
I signed up for the "monthly" subscription plan with 247 Sports on December 17, 2018. It stated on the website that it was a 7-day risk free trial and my card would not be charged until the end of the trial period.
I ended up canceling my account later that same day, 12.10.18 and have an email confirmation from 247 Sports saying my account has been canceled.
Despite this, my credit card was still charged $9.95. I emailed their customer service and they said I signed up for the monthly plan and so my card was charged -- completely ignoring the fact that their website states it is a 7-day risk free trial.
I would like a refund for the $9.95 back to my card
