They were misleading with adverting regarding price, and so were employees I called for lock out service When I asked for an estimate I was told [redacted] plus **, and the tech would have to give me a better estimate When the tech called me, I again asked He told me he would have to see the truck He arrived and a timely manner, but got right to itThe tech asked me to fill out the top of his invoice, and had the work done before even discussing the priceStupid me, I did not ask again He was in my truck in ten minutes, and charged me [redacted] dollars That is [redacted] per minutes folks!!!! We change tires on the side of the freeway and do not charge that kind of money When I said something to him about the price, his response was I am just the tech When I called Dispatch back they said I am just dispatch!! I asked for a supervisors name and number, and she gave me a customer service number and then had the audacity to tell me I could leave them a message We are in the service i

Bait-and-switch with high pressure tactics advertising of response times
This outfit advertises a minute response time and $*** service charge, hours per day The technician took at least minutes to arrive He pretended to try to unlock my door by picking the lock with a BALL POINT PEN This charade lasted about seconds and then he "informed" me he would have to use an air-wedge to open the door because I had electronic door locks Instead of the $** advertised price, the charge ballooned to over $***
I noticed after our transaction that this group already has an F rating from the Revdex.com
We locked ourselves out of our home and contacted Kansas City Locksmith to have a locksmith sent to our homeWe were told it would be $** for the service call, but that they would quote us the price for completing the service once they arrivedOnce they arrived, they quoted us $*** total, and completed the job with one tool in less than secondsWhile the price for this tiny amount of service was infuriating enough, we agreed to pay it because we were in an emergency situation and felt we had no choiceHowever, the contractor ran our card and informed us that it was only approving a $*** chargeMy husband asked why the man was charging us $*** when the quoted price was $***The man responded that he was charging a **% fee for using a credit cardSo we ended up being charged $*** total for the callHowever, afterward, I started thinking that something was fishy and called to see if the **% fee was really their policyThe manager informed me that no, it was not, and said that

Website advertises that their company will do a consult for $** and then pending the time needed to unlock our door could increase the rateWe were fine with thisWe called the company after their contractor spent minutes unlocking our door and they said that the charge would be $** for his minutes serviceSo, $** + $** + $**We were charged $*** and their poor customer service team can't/wont tell us whyThey also said that we are at a lossI was transferred to different customer service representatives before a manager finally came on and told me that we will pay the $*** no matter whatThis is why I am opening a claimThat is absolutely ridiculousWe have no idea why we were charged an additional $**
Product_Or_Service: Lock Smith
We got two deadbolt/entry ways rekeyed and changed two deadbolt/entryway hardware with this so called service. I was charged over $600.00 for this and when I tried to contact the company later they claimed they had no record of anyone from their company doing the above!! The bill/invoice had no phone number either!! I had a local established lock smith perform a rekey and even added a lock for $160.00. Please don't use this internet shady company!!!
the add stated 15 minutes. I was also told service would be provided in 15 or 20 minutes. It was an hour before I was provided service. Wasn't told of price until after service was completed. I have tried numerous times to contact company and kept getting the run and around and disconnected. If I had been told in the beginning that it would be an hour of waiting, I would have contacted another company. They refused to talk to me. I thought they could at least discount the $145.00 fee.Desired SettlementI want someone from that company to contact me regarding this issue and to discount this price for the poor service provided. I would also like my comment placed on there record.
Review: I called [redacted] Locksmith this morning around 7:15 a.m., at which time I was locked out of my home. I was quoted a service fee of $45, and a labor fee starting at $19. When the locksmith arrived, he said if he cannot use the wedge pump (which he showed me) to open my door, he would have to drill. The deadbolt was not locked. He was able to open the door immediately upon using the wedge pump. He told me my total fee was $175. I questioned the fee 3 times. I told him that's not what I was quoted. He just kept saying this is the fee. He asked me to write my name and address on an invoice, number [redacted]. The invoice did not have the business name on it. On the invoice he wrote - Open Door, $175, and his signature, which I could not read. I gave him my check card, which he called in to the office to process because his credit card machine was not working. I called the company from my place of employment at approximately 10:48 a.m. I informed the receptionist that I think I was over charged by the locksmith. At that time, I was transferred to customer service, and spoke with Sarah Rogers. I told [redacted] how much I was charged. At that time, she looked up my information and said the charge was correct. She verified the information I was given prior to the arrival of the locksmith was correct. There is a $45 services fee and a labor fee starting at $19. I asked her why I was charged $175. She said the amount of the labor fee depends on the type of lock and the work that was done to open the lock. I told her it was the bottom lock, which the locksmith opened within seconds of using the wedge pump. I told her that I wanted to be reimbursed for the amt. that I was over charged & over paid. She said the maximum range of the service fees plus labor is $200, and since I paid $175, she could not reimburse me. She was never able to explain why the labor fee was so high.I asked to speak to a supervisor. She said I am the supervisor. I continued to ask for a specific explanation of the labor fees. She kept saying (in a rude manner) the same thing, labor starts at $19. The cost depends on the type of lock, etc. I asked for her store address. She said we only have a billing address: [redacted], MD [redacted]. However, I found the business office location (dispatch) the internet - Locksmith [redacted], Locksmith Services, Hrs. Mon-Sun 12:01 a.m. to 11:59 p.m. (24hr), [redacted] VA [redacted].Desired Settlement: Partial refund of $111.
