November 2, 2016Dear [redacted] ***,We are in receipt of your letter dated October 29, Please be advised that Get A Cab is not a transportation company and does not own or operate any vehicles or employ or contract with any driversGet A Cab is simply a taxicab dispatch companyAll taxicabs in Philadelphia are independently owned and operated and all drivers are self-employedDrivers are all independent contractors and are not employed or controlled by our companyFurthermore, taxicabs and taxicab drivers are regulated by the Philadelphia Parking Authority (PPA)If a customer has a complaint, the PPA is equipped to investigate and handle such complaintsAccordingly, while we are sorry that the customer had a negative experience with one of the drivers that uses our dispatch, we are not responsible for this driver's behavior.Sincerely,Get A Cab Management

I was charged $for a ride that I did not take on 2/8/at 6:pm
The confirmation was apparently *** & the vehicle was 215GetACab #***
I reached out to the company about refunding my money ASAP with no response back

The cab driver of ca* *** drove off with of my bags of laundry On sat Oct around 1pmThe driver accused me of not wanting to pay my dollar fare (which was a lie)He was very rude and his wyes were blood red aa if he was deunk or on drugsDuring my ridw when I asked the driver not to atop at yellow lights just slow down and proceed through, HE yelled at me to stop telling him how to drive.I CALLED POLICE WHEN HE GPT IN MY FACE ASKING "WHERE IS MY MONEY" while he was holding my last laundry bag in his handI told him to give me my bag and I would pay him his moneyBut he refused and drove offI called dispatcher TERRY and she tried for mins to get him on the phone while he was doing whatever to my laundryI met up with the driver at the policw stationThe officer told him to drive my clothes to my home and I will pay him the seven dollarsWhen we got outside the driver turned and told me he waa taking my clothes to PPAI arrived there at 5pm the PPA was closed
