2063 Restorations

1. He either failed to check for/strain paint,or sprayer malfunctioned, ruining brand new, properly prepared drywall in 6 rooms. Tried to blame on drywaller,but painting expert said that wasn't case. He a& I discussed problem on Feb 20th,& agreed he would sand. Subsequently, he has refused to remedy, causing me to have to spend more time looking for someone to repair/finish (if it can be repaired--may have to replace all drywall), which wasted paint, extends my displacement, costing me money al&high stress. Contract says must complete to my satisfaction. I am not satisfied, so this is breach of contract.

2. Did not follow contract specifications to sand baseboard & trim before painting, resulting in paint peeling off, wasting paint, time, coating money, stress as above. Breach of contract.

3. Was supposed to be paid after job completed, but pressured me with partial payment on the snow day, when I was getting migraine (ie reduced cognitive faculties), promising he would complete a number of items before leaving that day. I paid, but he did not complete & now refuses to do so.

4. Contract specifies that he will cover everything, but did not. As a result, he got paint on parquet floor,carpet, brass knobs,pendant lights,stained moulding, etc. He assured me he would clean all this up but now refuses. Breach of contract.

5. He'd been given written instructions, in contract & in text to lower a door opening height but did not, installing drywall that has to be taken off. He was also instructed to insulate around 2 new windows before trimming. He allegedly fixed, dont know. Breach of contract.

6. He did not complete other items in contract (some not started, some not completed).

7. I left note over weekend of items for which he was paid, that were not completed, that I wanted finished before starting new.

8. On Feb. 24, he left note that said "THIS IS *** LOOSE (sic) MY NUMBER DON'T CALL ARE (sic) TEXT ME EVER ***
