[redacted] ***When we arrived at the customers house, there were still items in and on t=he dressers and other furnitureTheir personal Items were not ready so we =had to take time to move them so we could load stuff into the truckThe ha=llway at the destination end was much longer than stated when the estimate =was given, thus increasing time.=C2=A0These changes increased our time and =therefore increased the cost to the customerThe estimate was for up to =hours of labor (with the assumption that the items to be moved would be rea=dy), because of the lack of preparation when we arrived, the job took a tot=al of hours which would have been a total of $1,I gave them a =discount of $I do not feel that any further discount or refund is w=arranted.=C2=A0My account is a DBA account so I can put either my name, the company name o=r both names.Thank you,=C2=A0Cole T***Guys Truck

I am rejecting this response because: there was no discount givenMy grandparents were never aware of any discount given nor was there a receipt given to prove so and nor was a receipt offeredThey took advantage of an year old couple and over charged themAnd yes they did have furniture and a freezer that a dolly should've been usedI will not accept this supposed discount you have mentioned in this disputeWhen I originally called you to rectify things non of that was brought up and you were rude enough to hang up on meNone of what has happened has been very professional on your partI'm still wanting a dollars refund made out to my grandparents to correct this situation

They were not there for the claimed "hrs" the move was scheduled at am and they did not show up until shortly after am and they were done sometime around 4:that day because they were able to run to the bank and cash the check that they personally wrote to themselves and that bank closes at pmSo at the most they spent 5.5hrs moving the stuffBut according to my granparents they were there to hrsThere was nothing said about estimated time just that it'd cost to to move the itemsThey were also very unprofessional according to the grandparents and others there helping they were rude and swearing a lotAlso did not come prepared with any carts or dollies to move the furniture (in which thats the only reason it took as long as it did there were other family members there helping pack anything that needed to be) Never offered a receipt and also told my grandma to leave the name blank on the check so they could fill it inThey took advantage of an year old coupleStill am wanting them to refund $back to my grandparents

I gave them a =discount of $175.00. Thank you for bringing the inappropriate behavior to my attention, I do sincerely apologize for the cursing and rudeness. That behavior will be addressed immediately with those individuals and appropriate action taken. As for the receipt, we give those upon request.We give our estimates over the phone, therefore we base them on the information we request which includes but is not limited to number of rooms, stairs, floors, etc. and then we approximate how much time that will take. Sometimes when we show up things are not ready for us or we were given incorrect information so that increases our time, therefore adding to the cost.There was no furniture at this job that needed a dolly to be moved.To address the check issue again, as a DBA I can put my personal name, my business name or both on checks, I chose to put my personal name on the check that day. I also can take the check to the customers bank or to my personal bank. I'm sorry that caused a problem for this customer.I'm sorry that you feel I took advantage of your grandparents, even given the time frame you stated in your rebuttal, the final bill would still have been over the $1200.00 I charged after the discount of $175.00.Thank youCole T[redacted]2 Guys 1Truck
