They provided excellent service and was very diligent with the timeframe in finishing my roof and gutters. Vadym was very professional and always kept me informed of any changes that was going on. Vadym also was very flexible. Vadym needs a raise since he is always traveling so far and always has a great attitude.
Excellent company. All work is done professionally and in a very timely manner. It was especially nice to have Vadym as the major contact. He was always available and would handle any situation or answer any question that I would have. The company name says it all: their 1st priority is truly the customer and their home.
We were very impressed with the communication and ability of 1st Priority Roofing to work quickly on a roof for us! They did an outstanding job and really stood out from the rest when it came down to thoroughness and responsiveness. Thank you!
Great experience with Billy and team. The process was easy from start to finish. Billy went through all the paperwork with us and explained how it all worked. The roofing crew did a great job as well. No issues with inspection. They also did a good job cleaning up.
We were extremely happy with the work and service from 1st Priority Roofing. They went to bat for us with our insurance company and helped us understand the process. We would 100% recommend them.
We had our roof and gutters done with 1st Priority and they did did a great job. They value customer satisfaction and I highly recommend them. It was great working with Billy and Chad !
Billy ***, Mike ***, and their crew did an excellent job in replacing our roof and gutters after we had severe hail damage! We appreciate their hard work and extra effort!
1st Priority was easy to work with to get our house repaired after a large hail storm last summer. Billy is very pleasant to work with and does a great job of explaining the process. 1st Priority helped us navigate the appraisal process to get full insurance approval. Job started on time and was easy once it got going (no fault to 1st Priority). Chad was attentive when we had concerns. Would use this company again for contracting needs.
I just want to add my voice to the great reviews for 1st Priority Roofing for the excellent work they did for me replacing three roofs. Vadym was my contact who patiently worked with me to explain their procedure, costs, schedule and additional gutter work that was needed. My job had solar panels installed on one part of the house roof, but the 1st Priority team worked around the complications to complete all three roofs in the agreed upon time. I couldn't be more satisfied with the professional work done on my hail damaged roofs.
1st Priority Roofing did a fantastic job replacing our roof after the recent hailstorms in Summer of 2019. Gregg B. was our primary contact and he provided great communication walking us through every step of the process with both 1st Priority and our Insurance company. As this was our first time replacing a roof and dealing with significant damage to our roof, screens, gutters, windows - Gregg truly simplified and streamlined everything to allow us to make the best decisions on the way forward. Our 1st Priority crew were timely, professional, and worked hard from daybreak to sundown; including doing a thorough job cleaning up the extensive debris caused by this type of work. Highly recommend 1st Priority for your roofing needs! Thanks, Ben Aurora, CO

Review of First Priority for roofing and siding contract.
In July 2019, I contracted with 1st Priority to estimate and complete a siding contract. 1st Priority provided a detailed estimate, also recommended I submit a claim to insurance to replace my roof due to extensive hail damage. As it turned out my roof needed a complete replacement including the decking. 1st Priority, working directly with the insurance company, coordinated the additional coverage. I was working with Kevin Lowther as the agent for 1st Priority. Halfway through the project Kevin disappeared and I had to coordinate directly with the Project Manager.
For the most part, the roof replacement went smooth. 1st Priority coordinated directly with my insurance company and negotiated for all additional repairs not in the original roofing estimate. However, there was a small issue with the roof resulting in delayed approval. The roof completion did not occur until the end of the project, (Including Siding) before final approval for the roof.
The significant delays started when Chad, the project manager, was coordinating with an asbestos abatement and siding removal company. I paid the $500.00 fee directly to the abatement company for Asbestos testing. Then I signed a contract that required the abatement company to initiate work within two weeks of signing that contract. It was partly the fault of the abatement company as they misplaced the paperwork, however, Chad did not follow up with the abatement company, until I asked for a start date. When Chad contacted the company, the paperwork had expired, resulting in a six-week delay to start my siding project. Once settled, the abatement company removed the siding and 1st Priority sent a team to install insulation and house wrap. When this work was completed, 1st Priority received a cease work order from the city of Manitou Springs because the materials I selected were not approved by Manitou Springs historic committee. (Kevin told me that all permits were pulled, and everything was approved.) Another Project Management mistake, not following up to ensure all permits were issued. This caused yet another delay on the siding project. When 1st Priority finally got approval to move forward, they did not have a crew immediately available. This resulted in further delay. The original scheduled completion was supposed to be October 2019, the final walkthrough occurred the end of January 2020 three months after promised completion.
Issues that occurred during construction:
1. Materials left on sight for long periods after completion of projects.
2. Nails left in the road in front of the house. (Part of the daily cleanup agreement with 1st Priority)
3. Daily cleanup not completed to my or my tenant’s satisfaction.
4. Requested removal of materials stored on the street and no longer required for the job took more than two weeks to coordinate.
5. Multiple delays due to poor coordination by the project manager but were left to the last minute causing unnecessary delays.
6. Requested the Project Manager provide a Project Schedule with timeline on several occasions and the never received one.
The work once completed was satisfactory, however the process was extremely stressful and took way longer than necessary.
1st Priority did a great job replacing our roof from hail damage. Vadym was very responsive and kept us updated with current status of the project from beginning to end. I'm always a little skeptical of companies that leave door hangers after hail storms but Vadym and 1st Priority were very professional and easy to work with. They cleaned my entire back porch after the installation even though only a small portion was affected by the installation.
Ist Priority Roofing truly upholds its reputation in giving excellent quality customer service. The entire process of replacing our roof from hail damage was done in a very smooth and organized manner. There was a great communication of updates about the process from Chad, the Area Supervisor, as well as from the owners, Billy and Sylvia. They’ve all been very respectful and professional. The delivery of materials and installation went very well as scheduled. The roofers came on time and made sure the work areas were clean before they left our property. Chad even came by to inspect if everything was good during and after the installation. Overall, I highly recommend 1st Priority for all your roofing needs because our property is really their First Priority.
Great company and great work!!! Will use them again on next project
The quality of work done on the home by the construction workers do not match the 1st class verbiage you are meet with at signing. I am a full time medical professional as my husband is deployed and I know little to nothing about construction I relied on 1st priority to walk their talk. They sold my husband a pipe dream that this full 4 sided vinyl replacement from a hail storm would take 3-5 days.
This promise turned into a 6 week project where another team had to come in and redo an ineffective teams work. This did not happen once but twice in the 6 week period. I had to call Chad the project manager personally and request he fix the work by his own hand as it had visible gaps and looked unprofessional. Long story short I guess I as the customer missed more spacing issues with my lack of knowledge. We are set to PCS and are held up in the sale of our home due to failing a house inspection by another military family with a VA loan trying to purchase due to gaps in the vinyl siding an issue I brought up to the property manager and the sales rep. I am beyond feelings that a $21,000 insurance job that had 6 weeks of communication going back and forth between the property manger, myself, my husband overseas and the sales contact who sold us a dream job that turned into a nightmare I continue to deal with to this very day. I highly recommend that before you sign off on any work from this company you gain a second opinion.
1st Priority was fantastic to work with after severe hail damage over the summer. They handled everything that needed fixed, from the shingles, hiring fantastic painters, window screens and many other small items. The insurance process can be pretty confusing, but 1st Priority made it simple to work through it. I'm hesitant to take any stars off, but we did find a lot of nails on the property after the roof install and I think one of them ended up in one of our tires. Also, second day of roof install, we only had a couple of installers show up instead of a full crew, so the job ended up taking longer than it should have. Aside from that, we had a great experience and wouldn't hesitate to use them again.
1st Priority Roofing has been very professional and helpful to work with through the appraisal process with my insurance company after hail damage. Everyone I dealt with was prompt in getting back to me with answers to questions. The roof was installed yesterday with a great team who was focused on getting the job done well and in a timely manner. Cleanup was fantastic! I would highly recommend this company for your roofing needs.
