1st Energy Home Designed never completed the job although they were paid in full. In addition the work that was performed was unprofessional. I incurred costs due to their negligence. I have to hire another company at a later date to resand and paint my walls. Not to mention I stayed in a hotel for a week because the work extended completion date by 5 weeks. He claimed my side door was on back order for weeks and never a replacement. After payment, Mr. A would barely return calls/texts, ignore my request for reimbursement, and send incompetent workers to take check list of problem items and no repairs made. I also, have a newly installed window that was cracked and never replaced.

we honored everything on the contract you signed with our company as far as the side door in question I can deduct the overall contract to reflect the amount of the door cost I will also cover the hotel cost. as to the cost for the plumber having to unclog your sink from material being dumped by one of my installers that will be covered as well. as far as coming to correct your rapiars scheduling with you has been difficult since you informed one of my forman that your were leaving for 2 weeks and then when you arrived in town we were out there right away which at that time you kicked my installers off the property because they informed her it would take a couple of days to repair your concerns as far as the window in meetion I can have it replaced no cost to you if it is cracked an order a new glass pack for it not a problem however became really upset and kicked my guy off the job an said forget it an you want to handle it the legal way. let me know how you would like to handel it
I do not accept the companies response as a resolve. They made no mention of reimbursement for kitchen floor steam cleaning (plaster was hard to remove from floor), ac vent cleaning of dust from sanding, supplies purchased to replace smoke detectors/electrical plate covers, paint removal, etc. which is in the neighborhood of $3,900 (includes hotel expense). This excludes what a contractor would charge me to make correctional repairs to fix the incomplete job that was performed.
As for scheduling corrective repairs, there were 3 appointments made to do a walk through and checklist. My time is valuable and can't afford to keep being home for repetitive conversations about what needs to be fixed and no repairs made. If I clear my schedule to be home for a repair appointment, that is what should be done; REPAIRS. Not another walk thorough and promise as to what will be done on another day.
This company keeps saying they will reimburse me but no payment for reimbursement has been made to date. Also, I am fine with corrective repairs being done if in fact work will be performed on the day scheduled.

Please let me know when I can correct the repairs as mentioned with Joe as well as a new service tech or dates when you are avail I will have Joe meet and show the new installer on what needs to be done as far as compensation I will go ahead am reimburse you for the cost of the hotel as well as the plumbing work cost that was corrected by you with hiring a company to unclogged as far as the baseboards I can replace a couple of base boards however not the entire house if you are ok with that Please let me know what direction you would like to take
