1st Choice Tree & Landscaping

From a referral, I had Bob come out for an estimate. I wanted 1 big tree cut down but leave the trunk. I also had him trim up 5 big trees. He was here only 5 minutes for the estimate and did not take notes. ( red flag ) . I left a check for full amount of estimate. ( never do that again )I was not home when he was here to do the work. When I came home the tree was not cut down far enough to the trunk. they left 2 big about 10' branches coming from the trunk. Also, a lilac and a shrub were trashed from the tree coming down. The 5 trees I asked for a good trim, barely looked like any branches were taken off. I know they are ASH trees but I still wanted them trimmed up until I have to take them down because of the ash bore disease. What I am most sad about is a tree that I planted when I bought the house 12 years ago was cut down. I NEVER mentioned for that tree to be cut down. Finally, I have reached out to Bob several times for him to come back and finish the job and has yet to do so. I have never filled out a Revdex.com complaint before, but this really has tested my patients.
