Dear [redacted],  I would like to close my Revdex.com complaint against the  Majestic Pool and Spa Company.   The owner John [redacted] contacted me and the work  on the pool stair jets was completed June 1st and they work perfectly.  The cement was poured and I am very happy with the repair.  I would like to close as completely satisfied.  Thank you Revdex.com for your help.   #[redacted]  Sincerely,          [redacted]

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.  They did come out to service the heater, however, we had to light it again last week so there is obviously a defect in the heater that can not or has not been repaired. Also, they still have not come to remove the dirt as they agreed to do. They also have done nothing to repair the hole in the steel wall of the pool, nor have they even attempted to speak to us regarding the impact that this hole will have on our pool. We would like to hire a landscaper to salvage the rest of our yard, a cost we had not factored into this pool installing process since we did not know that our yard would be so damaged, but we can not hire the landscaper until Majestic removes the unwanted dirt. Again, I started asking for removal of this dirt the day after they began digging, I called Marty and he spoke to John (the owner) who said not to worry, once the concrete was installed they would remove the dirt. Marty also said that John would come to speak to us. That was in May, I have still never met the man. So, there are still THREE issues that need to be resolved. 1. Heater pilot continues to go out. 2. Excess dirt needs to be removed. 3. Hole in steel wall needs to be addressed.   Regards,  [redacted]

To whom I t may concern, Upon installation of Mr. [redacted]'s pool on 6/29/15 our service tech showed the customer the following: That his gutters are draining towards the pool and his sump pump used to keep water from behind the liner was not operating. Mr. [redacted] was told to replace the pump. Also to...

that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. Original complaint date :    9-29-16   I was very pleased to receive a call from John [redacted] of Majestic
Pool Co. on March 19th, 2017.  He apologized for the delay in responding
and stated that he would call me back sometime this week, and make an
appointment to come to my home and discuss his plans to make my inground
pool stair jets work.  I am very hopeful that he will be able to make
these repairs soon, unfortunately there may now be a problem getting
parts - but he said he will work on a solution.  This is an unusual
situation because we are talking about an inground pool and these
companies cannot work during winter months and reopen when the ground
thaws.  So, at this time I cannot close my complaint -it is too
premature- but as soon as I am contacted again by Mr. [redacted] I will
contact you.  I hope the work will be completed as soon as possible and
at that time, once the jets are in good working order, I can close my
claim as a satisfied customer.  Also, once the jets are working, I will
happily cancel my upcoming Small Claims Court date now set for
June 2017.  That is why I could not, at this time, choose the "accept"
response and had to choose "reject" - until the problem is resolved.

You have requested that I supply a copy of the signed contract showing payment plans with [redacted] financial written.Please note that the owner of Majestic Pools put a dash next to down payment, and left the remaining $ payments blank.  He wrote in 'FROM [redacted] FINANCIAL'.  Thank You.[redacted]

We have no control over the weather and the problems with getting this job completed were totally weather related. Her repair was done and she signed a paper stating she was satisfied. We warranty our work for one year. We sent a gift certificate for $100 to compensate for the delay.

The payment terms with [redacted] Financial were unacceptable to us and our subcontractors. The payment schedule they wanted to implement were 30% when the pool construction was begun and no other payment would be forthcoming until completion. We have a contract that allows for  payments at intervals...

Majestic pools put a patch on the liner, thus eliminating the leak. However, they did nothing to address the hole in the steel wall behind it. Whether they caused the hole or not we will obviously never agree on, but it needs to be repaired regardless.  We also have no idea what this hole in the steel means for the future of this pool. Could it crack, get bigger, cause further problems? No one has discussed this with us, I have tried to call but was placed on hold for 33 minutes. I called back and after a 7 minute hold was told the mgr would call me back but he never did. Also, the owner was supposed to come talk to us 2 weeks ago, I don't recall if it was the 13 or 20 of July, but of course he never showed or called. They also have yet to remove the dirt that they agreed to move, thus delaying us from using the rest of our yard or even being able to mow the grass we do have since it is just a steep hill of dirt. The heater also seldom works, it has to be lit half the time. I should be able to just flip a switch and use the heater but half the time the pilot goes out so I can't use the heater if my husband is not home to light it. Very frustrating. We just want our pool to be in good working order and our yard restored to some sort of usable space. We also would like to have good communication between us and Majestic pools as we have to rely on them for maintenance and repairs.

I am very sorry that Ms [redacted] was treated poorly by the receptionist. We have spoken to her regarding this issue. I assure you that we will do whatever we can to assure that Ms [redacted] is treated fairly in the future

The terms of payment from [redacted] Financial were not acceptable to us. They only wanted to give 30% of cost of the pool when the pool was started and no other funds were be forthcoming until the job was completed. Our contract clearly states the we get paid in increments as the pool is being installed. Their terms were not negotiable

For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.  Regards,  [redacted]  The main problem I had with this company was that I was hung up on multiples times by the woman at the inground pool showroom when trying to resolve an issue with my pool heater, This woman was down right rude and unprofessional , I no longer can call that store because this woman says she will not answer if she sees my number come up on caller ID, I will say Cindy at the Walden store did her best to work with me on getting my issue fixed and did send me a gift card for the way I was treated and the issues that occurred but that still doesn't excuse the unprofessionalsm of the woman who answers the phone at the inground pool showroom. People are spending a lot of money to purchase a pool and just because they have been paid in full doesn't mean they are any less important of customers after the purchase

below.  This is not wear and tear. They broke it by hitting the bolt with a hammer to loosen it thereby breaking the entire bolt and insert. I spoke with Rob right after the incident at Nahestic and he said he was sorry and that they would fix it at their cost. They cannot change their story now.  [redacted]

Mr. [redacted] has spoken to Ms [redacted] and we are working out a solution to the problem .  Mr. [redacted] was in Florida for the winter but has returned and is handling this to her satisfaction.
