Review: Received fictitious invoice for Yellow Pages advertising, we do not advertise! Last year we went through the same thing with another fake company. Invoice was for $495.26.It also listed our internet web site incorrectly. Please shut these people down.Desired Settlement: Prison time if possible!

Review: They are billing us for advertising that was never authorized from 3 months ago and even uses the retired CEO's name as contact information.They are substituting the Hospital's phone number as a "made up" account number.Desired Settlement: Put a stop to this company randomly taking phone numbers from businesses and exploiting them.They are trying to charge us $489.95 for services not rendered or solicited.

Review: I received a bill on 1-14-14 from YAPD for $495.26 for yellow pages listing advertising. I have never heard of this company much less contracted with them for advertising. I looked online and there are numerous other complaints on this "company"; people being billed for the excact same amounts of $495.26. This is obviously a scam. Please do something to catch these thieves!Desired Settlement: I just want to be notified what was found out and what was done about this.

Review: This company is fraudulently billing companies like ours for advertising that was not requested or authorized. They are merely pulling information of public record (owner's name, business listing info, etc) and using it to create false invoices. The mailings were sent out in July of this year, stating that there is a balance due of $489.95. The notice also lists a due date of 3 months ago. The company also misrepresents themselves by falsely using the well known Yellow Pages logo, in hopes that busy business owners and administrators will simply mail them a check without thinking twice and realizing that this company has nothing to do with the real Yellow Pages listing that most companies do have. When you call the phone number listed, regardless of which extension or menu option you choose, you are placed on an extended hold and then asked to leave a message as all personnel are busy with other callers. Sending an email to their supposed billing department gets no response.Desired Settlement: This company should be reported to the authorities for consumer fraud. I will be filing a complaint with the FTC as well as notifying Yellow Pages that their logo is being fraudulently used. This company's records should be seized and evaluated to determine how many businesses they have taken advantage of. Each company they have billed, like ours should receive a written apology as well as monetary compensation for the time companies paid admin staff members/AP staff members to deal with this.
