Review: [redacted]l for drivers Education for my child. The instructor ([redacted]) became irate with me when I asked for written confirmation of scheduled drives after there was a dispute for which I was going to be charged $35. This was dropped. There was continued problems trying to schedule drives for my child as the instructor wouldn't return texts (preferred method of communication) pushing past a 13 week timeline. In conversation with Stephen over the phone, when asked about extra charges because of this time frame his response was (Don't worry about it. Let's just get it scheduled and taken care of.) No further mention of additional charges. The drives were completed and we had to move out of the area before the final exam was completed. My child called and spoke with [redacted] in August saying that we were moving and he needed to get the test done. Again he said no problem just come in and take it. The test was taken and failed and we were assessed a $35 retake fee. Second test was passed. I asked for a final bill and was told $170. Asked for itemized invoice explaining this and there was no response. I know I owe $70 for the failed test and one missed drive. After several unanswered calls and five texts [redacted] called and again became irate with me when I asked for an invoice and a copy of the contract (which I never received upon enrolling he maintained the only copy) stating that he had done too much already and was charging me $100 for going beyond the aforementioned 13 week window.Note: More stellar examples of horrible customer relations left out due to report size restrictions.Desired Settlement: I owe him $70 I will pay when I get an invoice and a copy of the contract. My son's test scores need to be entered into the state database so he can take his drivers license test. The $100 discrepancy needs to be dropped as we discussed this with the instructor.

Review: Yakima Driving School is supposed to be a 6 week course. My daughter started the course 10/13/2015, she was supposed to be done with the class the week of November 24th. The owner/operator cancelled so many classes (and 1 holiday) that her last class was actually December 8th. This is not the worst of it. During the course of this 6 weeks, each student is required to have 6 drives with the instructor in order to complete the course. It is January 11th and my daughter is on drive 3. On January 4th she called him to schedule a drive, as he texted her on December 29th and cancelled her drive, he instructed her to call after the holiday. When she did I asked to speak with him, I explained that her class has been done for a month and that I wanted him to schedule all of her drives so she could be done with this course. He yelled at me, was very unprofessional and tried to blame my daughter for her drives not being done. I explained that we had several text messages from him showing that he was in fact the one that cancelled. He then stated, "oh I see, its all my fault". I explained no it wasn't his "fault" but yes his responsibility, he then explained to me that it was winter and he can't control the weather and drives must be scheduled accordingly. I personally took drivers ed in the winter, and they drive in the snow. That is part of learning. Today my daughter showed up for her drive. Steve yelled at her, asking her why she had her mom call him and yell at him. She told Steve that her mom wasn't yelling, she was right there, and then he called her crazy, called me crazy and continued on a rant. My daughter says that on more that one occasion he has yelled at her while she was driving, asking her if she was stupid. And has yelled very unprofessionally at the class.Desired Settlement: Washington State DOL no longer offers the testing required to obtain a drivers license. My daughter was supposed to be able to obtain those things from this course. Due to his inability to control his temper and properly teach children driving, we are asking for a refund. She will have to pay a different driver's ed instructor in order to obtain her license.
