Review: A [redacted] called and said that we owe them money for advertising that was sent to them from yellow pages.com as a collection as I told him I did not believe that we had any agreement with them and that I was not paying the settle amount of 500 dollars and when I kept asking him questions all he wanted to do was ask me if I wanted to renew and I kept telling him no and he said if he does not get the settlement then our listing will be automatically renewed by the time he was done he had the settlement down to 200 dollars and I still refused that because as I previously said I did not agree to this. I even got on the website and our name was spelled wrong link to a website that wasn't even ours and our hours were all wrong. I just felt like they where trying to scam me. I also asked for a letter of closure and he said he cant send me one without settling the account but since I am not sending him money he said we will automatically be renewed. he also cannot provide a recording or contract of any kind that I agreed to this.Desired Settlement: I did not send them money I just don't want them to call me anymore about this matter or any thing else

Review: YWS has several alias': YWS-Direct, Your Website Services and Yellow Website Services. Yellow is used with the intent to mislead people into thinking they work with Yellow Pages. On this particular occasion Yellow Website Services. Valery from YWS called stating that she understood we wanted to cancel our online service. I asked for clarification of her company, specifically asked if she was with Yellow Pages, where she said yes. This was actually something I had discussed with YP 2 weeks prior when I had called them so it seemed within reason that they would call but had misunderstood. We went over some of the specifics previously discussed with YP where she played along as though she knew all about it. I explained that we were not discontinuing our online service with YP so we went through the recording process where I state the company name, my name, spelling and that I wish to continue services. I have done that before with other reputable businesses without problem and didn't think anything of it. Towards the end of that recording (and unexpectedly for them) I asked them to clarify and confirm that they were with Yellow Pages to which she replied Yes, Yellow Pages Website Services" and I received a confirmation number.

I later received a phone call from Roger Adams. He stated he had received my confirmation of reinstatement from Valery and wanted to give me the opportunity to pay by Credit Card via PayPal in order to save some money. Rather than $699 the cost would then be $500. He began asking questions that I thought were very odd and raised some red flags. I began drilling in with questions of my own where he states that no they are not with our Yellow Pages they were a different company calling because 2 years prior we had received 6 months of free service and failed to cancel. He could not tell me who had authorized the 6 month free trial and failed to cancel. He said all old information had been replaced with my recent recording and my information. He had already sent me an email for PayPal payment. When I looked at the e-mail I saw that it wasn't Yellow Pages at all but YWS-Direct. I placed him on hold and called YP who confirmed that they in fact are not with them at all. He then began offering me the option to cancel for $200. I asked repeatedly to speak with his supervisor which he refused. I asked for a direct number to call him back which he refused. He threatened to take this to court where the judge would hear my voice on the recording to which I replied the judge would also hear them falsely claim to be with YP.

Key Points:

**Only willing to receive money via PayPal and did not want to hang up the phone with me until I had done so. He eventually hung up on me when I refused to pay.

**No record keeping. Could not give me any previous information.

**Never received a bill for services he claimed we had been receiving for 2 years but for some reason wanted to reinstate.

**Initially claimed to be with YP to obtain the recording to only find out they are not.

**Refused to let me speak with his superior.

**Refused to give me a call back number

**Very aggressive and argumentative

**Refused to take payment in any other form other than PayPal Credit.

I later found out that this same scenario happened 2 years ago at this office with another office manager. This has been going on for quite some time.Desired Settlement: This company has made a living out of scamming others. They need to be found and held accountable for their years of fraudulent activity.

Review: A few weeks ago, we began receiving phone calls on both our office line and tow phone from this company claiming we owed a uspecified (originaly they would not tell us the amount)amount of money, that they were sending us to collections, and demanding credit card information. As we had no recollaction of doing business with this company, we asked to be faxed a copy of the bill. Call kept coming, but we received no faxes. The calls became highly abusive in nature, but they still refused to give any really information cocerning what they said we owed. Finally, on 3/4 they called again, again were abusive, and again demamding credit card information. We requested they fax us the bill, which they did not. We called the number back, a women answeared, I asked her about the fax, she transfered me to someone else, who stated he had no knowledge of what I was talking about, that it was a private cell phone number, and I must have dialed wrong. Checking my phone, I did not. A few minutes later we received a fax and they called back (from the number I dialed). The bill they sent says we owe for "Basic listing and Optimization" for a total of $698.95. It has a web adress on it (411infopages.com), but when we went to the site, none of the links or anything were working. The fax cover sheet has the company name Tam Development, but the invoice says Your Website Development. We called them back to tell them we would not pay as we have never done business with them, and that we would be reporting them. The man on the phone began screaming that he would report us, and then hung up. There are no dates on the invoice, no return fax number, suposedly the company is located in MOntreal,Quebec. The persons name on the fax is Alexander Bekunda, a phone number provided is 1-877-298-6600 the number they call from is 1-514-482-2603.Desired Settlement: We would like them out of business, and if possible charges brought against them for fraud and harassment. We have never done business with these people, we have never used their services. They are trying to scam people out of money and thats not right.

Review: Was contacted by an individual with this company stating we made a request to cancel our subscription with 411 Listings. Our company doesn't advertise; therefore have never signed up to be on 411 Listings. Because we have never signed up, we would have never made any type of request to cancel something we didn't agree to. The company wanted me to agree to the cancellation so an invoice could be sent.Desired Settlement: Would like for this company to stop calling and trying to scam the employees into trying to agree to something we did not sign up for.

Review: Someone called our office and talked to [redacted]. She said this is to cancel and asked for a contract to be faxed over. They record the conversation and edit out parts to make it look like you accepted their deal. We never received a contract and no one signed a contract from our locations. We never received a bill to dispute. A man by the name Adam Stein called our office from 877-298-6600 and said he was turning us into collections for not paying bill within 15 days. They recorded the conversation December 14th. [redacted] talked to two people in our office and realized it was a scam after hanging up with whoever called her on December 14th. I talked to Adam Stein twice today and told him we did not sign a contract and have no intentions of paying them $599.95. I also told him to never call this number again he said I will call you everyday until you pay the bill. I informed him I was calling our attorney and the Revdex.com.Desired Settlement: We want that business to never call here again.

Review: This company used deceptive marketing techniques to sign one of our restaurants up for 16 months of internet advertising services on their website (www.411infopages.com). The only thing this website provided was an address and a phone number - complete garbage. The charges for this 16 month period (effective August 2012 - March 2014) are $599.99. No one at our restaurant authorized this service and now this company is looking for their money. They called the restaurant this morning and the manager on duty gave them my name and number. [redacted], a member of their website services accounting department, contacted me regarding payment on a past due account. Although I had a copy of their faxed invoice from August, I pretended as if I had no clue as to what he was talking about. He explained that one of our managers approved the service last year and that they were looking for payment. I told him to cancel any and all services we supposedly have with their business and to send me a copy of a cancellation notice and a revised invoice.

I have attached copies of all correspondence we have received from this company. The first three pages are the initial invoice from August and the final three pages are the revised invoice and subsequent cancellation notice. As you can see, they operate under multiple names - YourWebsite Services, Tam Development and 411infopages.com - all of which are supposedly based out of Montreal, Quebec.Desired Settlement: Please forward me any and all information you may have regarding any recourse we, as a business may have against them.

Review: The company at issue calls themselves "Your Website Services" or "411infopages.com". This is a company that uses a similar logo to the actual Yellow Pages but slightly changed. A person from a Canadian telemarketing company calls me weekly to harass me about "our posting" which is non-existent. They threatened us last year saying we had advertised with them online for an entire year and now owed $599. On November 30th, 2012, they called me again to "renew". I said I wanted to cancel. They told me I have to go on a recording to confirm my cancellation but that I couldn't actually cancel until next year (even though I cancelled last year). In this recording, I stated I would not pay anything. This company is based on HARRASSMENT. We want our name taken off their lists completely and will not be paying any fake invoicing faxed to us. If we receive further harrassment from Your Website Services we will seek our legal counsel.Desired Settlement: We would like to be taken off this company's list and never contacted again.Thank you.

Review: I am in a position of no authority whatsoever. I was left alone to manage the salesfloor and answer phones. A woman from this company called the store and said she wanted to do a breif 30 second survey. I tried to politely decline but she was insistant that it would only take thirty seconds. It seemed easier to give her thirty seconds of my time than to deal with her bullying. she asked for comany name, address, and phone number, then my name, position and email address. she asked me if I was authorized to give out this information. none of it is classified info, so I am allowed to state all of those facts. After providing the information, I was dsiconnected from the live person and an automated recording came on instructing me to take down a series of numbers (without providing enough time to take any of them down, and without an option to repeat the series of numbers so that I could record them as instructed) and then informing me that I would be sent an invoice in the amount of $599.99. I was emailed an invoice for website services description "Basic Website and otimization" none of which I ordered, also the invoice that I recieved at the email address I provided for the brief "survey" was post dated. when I called the number on the invoice to clear up this up, I spoke to a man called "Mark Jones" who inormed me that, two days after the initial conversation took place, my "invoice" was now "overdue" (even though the date on the invoice itself hadn't even occurred yet). When I explained that I hadn't ordered anything, he told me I had, but would let off for $500, and as I explined my side of this ridiculous situation, he bargained down, finally arriving at the price of $300 to cancel the "services" that I never ordered. This is all LUDICRIOUS in that NOTHING was ordered. It is a waste of time and energy, and a shame that such crooked people are out there engaging in such insanely devious and rotten scams.Desired Settlement: I would like this business operation shut down. They are a completely fraudulent operation that uses deception and intimidation to manipulate innocent people. I do not understand why they are still allowed to use the internet and telephone, they should be in jail.

Review: In November 2012 I was contacted concerning a bill for online advertising for $599.99 from this company. They stated that we had accepted their services over the phone - which we didn't - we accept no phone solicitations - and now needed to pay for the year of service. I then refused and was called persistently for weeks until a bill was faxed to me. I have refused to pay for something we never asked for or received. The company only takes credit cards over the phone - something not very trustworthy and fishy. I have stated numerous times that I am to be removed from their list and not called anymore.I find this to be another scam that the business has been exposed to and they are trying very hard to get money from small businesses.Desired Settlement: That the company be shut down and other businesses be made aware of the scam for what it is
