Xpert Towing & collision is the worst!!!
My Husband was involved in an accident with my Car and they appeared on the scene. I wanted another towing company that I knew to take my car but Unfortunately my Brother in law who was also in the car and was injured, knew this jerk and convinced me to give them my car. When I called them and told them I wanted to take my car elsewhere, they assured me I was at the right place for the repair. Boy were they lying....
It was a nightmare from the very start. They kept my car for like a month without giving it to the repair shop, which also sucked, Inner City in the Bronx.
The [redacted], of Xpert Towing, was very unprofessional and tried to flirt with me so I would leave my car with him and the lousy repair shop.
What a nightmare!!!! They and the repair shop are a bunch of thieves. They run one scam after another. I would never deal with them again.
Xpert towing convinced my Adjuster not to total my car, because that's what I wanted. Which is highly illegal. The adjuster is in co-hoots with them too. The repair shop just was worried about the body damage. I got my car back with engine damage that they didn't care about, which I had to go elsewhere to repair. They were paid about $12,000 and I still had damage.
This company, Xpert Towing, the repair shop, Inner City, and the adjuster were all very unprofessional and I would never do business with any of them, ever again........

Review: [redacted] & [redacted] watch me park my vechice and watched me go into [redacted] restaurant than waited for me to sit down and than came in and told me my car was being tow I parked at this spot before it was own by [redacted] restaurant didn't no it was own by [redacted] didnt see any sign until the car was going to be towed they saw me leave why did'nt they say sorry can't park here new owner I heard from the restaurant that they wait for people to leave in order to tow the car's to get money that not honest that stealing from people never towed my car was released in the same spot and charge me $136.00 what crooks please help with this problem .Desired Settlement: want to get my money back that against the law to do this to honest people

Review: My husband and I were scammed. Our car was hit by a NYC sanitation truck in the Bronx on [redacted]. on January **, 2015 while it was parked. When we got to the scene of the accident, we were approached by a man named [redacted] who lied to us and told us that he works for [redacted] and being that his shop was a few feet down from the accident, he would put it in the shop and give us an estimate once the police report and the claim is filed with NYC. My husband signed the contract with [redacted] also presented him with Xpert Towing & Collision paperwork and when my husband asked what this was, [redacted] told us that this was in case they needed to remove our car temporarily while we wait for NYC to contact us. It sounded logical, so my husband signed it. The police report and NYC got in touch with us in February. We contacted [redacted] and they told us that our car was in the storage yard? What storage yard? [redacted] gave us [redacted]'s number. We thought Leo worked for [redacted] but he works for Xpert Towing. He told us that our car is in a storage yard somewhere in the Bronx collecting $70 of storage fees a day and it can't be released until we pay him about $3,000 of storage fees! We were never contacted by [redacted] or Xpert Towing letting us know that our car would be removed from the repair shop and sent to storage. [redacted] the [redacted] of [redacted] claims that [redacted] never worked for them but my husband signed the contract with [redacted] presented by [redacted] in their office where our car was driven to. We saw our car with our own eyes on [redacted] property on January 19, 2015 but the [redacted] of [redacted] claims our car was never on his property. How can [redacted] say that when he was not there on January **, 2015? We never received a written estimate from anyone and it's been 3 months now and NYC is accepting full liability and they are waiting for estimates which we are not able to give them because Xpert Towing is holding our car hostage until we give them $3,000 to release it from a storage yard. [redacted] (not sure if he works for Xpert Towing or [redacted]). It's all a scam and my husband and I are caught in the middle of it. Both Xpert Towing & Collision and [redacted] are conducting fraudulent business practices and should be reported to the authorities. We are still out of a car and are not able to get to our own property. This is not ethical at all.Desired Settlement: We want our car without having to provide storage fees that were never addressed or explained to us before the car was taken to the storage yard.

Review: On 3/*/2015 I parked my car in a closed garage across the street from the restaurant [redacted] On [redacted] in the Bronx. I went into [redacted] to make a reservation and being [redacted] it was very busy on a Sunday. I sat down for a minute and a young man came in to tell me I was being towed. Of course he was the tow truck driver. I went back out to the garage and my car was hooked up and he and another man were taunting me and telling me you have to pay , you have to pay. I called the police and we waited for an hour. When the Police came they told me there was nothing they could do since I was parked in a garage that was for the [redacted]. I explained to them that I always parked here and [redacted] had valeted my car there many times. I tried to see the tow trucks license number but it was covered in mud and so was the medallion. For all I know I was paying complete strangers. In any case they demanded cash which we all know any legitimate business takes credit cards and said they do not have a swipe machine. I said I'll bet you don't. Then demanded to see my drivers license which I absolutely refused to give them. So I had to pay 68.00 and 1.75 in ATM fees to Xpert towing when I wasn't even parked for 5 minutes. Later I went back into [redacted] and when I cam out I watched the same Tow truck parked across the street watching people go in the parking lot and then waiting for them to go into another place. This is not the way to run a business it is a scam that I have no idea who they work for its more like a predatory scam.Desired Settlement: I would like to see this business investigated , I would like to know who hired them and I would like a refund.

Review: Predatory Tow trucks grab your car a second after you park in the lot on [redacted] for the [redacted]. They then SCAM you out of $136 in CASH to release your car.

There are only small signs stating [redacted] parking which are almost hidden. 1 sign is against a roll down gate and the other is at the far end of the lot. Both signs are not clearly visible at night. Also there are NO signs that list XPERT TOWING as the tow company, No signs that say illegally parked vehicles will be towed. No signs with XPERT TOWING's phone number or consumer affairs license information. This is a total RIP OFF and they know it. The [redacted] is no better for contracting companies like this.Desired Settlement: I need to hear from XPERT TOWING promptly regarding a refund.

Review: I parked in a vacant gas station that had a "Wicked Wolf" Parking Only sign. I went into a pizzeria next door to the Wicked Wolf for a slice. I had not been in the pizzeria 2 minutes when a gentleman came in and told me my car was being towed. I went outside and my car was already hooked up to the tow truck. When I asked why I was being towed, I was told that parking was for the Wicked Wolf only. I told him I was getting a slice and then I was going to the Wicked Wolf. He told me that he saw me go into the pizzeria and that I had to go to the Wicked Wolf first. There are no signs that say your vehicle will be towed. They basically watched me park and towed me the minute I went into the pizzeria. This is a scam plain and simple. When I called the dispatcher to complain he told me I was on video without even knowing who I was or what I was calling about. If they are going to state that I wasn't going to patronize the Wicked Wolf they should have waited at least until I left the pizzeria. This is a scam and I am out $136.00. If you can't help me someone should check these guys out. It is a scam.Desired Settlement: I should be reimbursed $136 + $1.75 transaction fee from the ATM because THIS IS A SCAM!
