Review: xcessad contacted owner of company via cell phone and explained who/what their company was and that they were producing an invoice for a year of services/adverstisement. Owner was unaware of this company as never having done business with them previously and asked for documentation as to what exactly the services that they were offering as owner never authorized any such services. An invoice was received days later for the amount of $789.55 - 1 Yr Online Services. However, the name of our companys name is incorrect on invoice. When xcessad was contacted directly (spoke with [redacted]) to ask what the invoice was for as our company did not authorize any such services from their company. [redacted] stated that there was a "recorded" authorization from owner of [redacted] of which she played. However, the recording sounded as it was edited as only 2 words from the entire conversation owner had previously with [redacted] from xcessad asking what the product was and requested information was used on the recording indicating that the owner was authorizing services. There was a much more detailed conversation than just those 2 words on the "recorded authorization." Xcessad claims they can not cancel services as "already in place" as of 6/26/13 and the fee of $789.55 remains due/owed. [redacted] did not wish to have this advertisement or services of any sort. It was asked why in reviewing Revdex.com and XcessAD, why there are numerous (recent) complaints that had never been responded/explained by Xcessad. [redacted] claims that any thing/complaint that comes in from Revdex.com is responded to immediately.Desired Settlement: Existing Invoice null/void.

Review: This company says that I authorized an online advertising purchase from them, when in fact this never occurred at all. Now they are calling and demanding payment for services that we never ordered or wanted.Desired Settlement: We would like for this company to credit this invoice and stop calling our company and remove us from any list they may have us on.

Review: This company has repeatedly called and claimed that we owe for services. I asked for a copy of a signed contract. I received an invoice in the mail, no contract. Again they called and said they have me on a recording claiming that I "agreed" to the services. When I asked to hear the recording, they play back a partial recording where I am supposedly verifying my address so they can send me my invoice for services. They never play the beginning of the recording where I have continually asked for a copy of a signed contract or agreement. We have never done business with this company. I believe there are recording business illegally.Desired Settlement: I want them to quit calling us. I believe what they are doing is illegal.

Review: A representative from xcessad.com called today trying to collect a payment. They claim I made a verbal commitment over the phone for their services, which I dispute. They claim they have a recording with me authorizing their services, but they have never given me any written documentation as a form of contract. They are willing to reduce the amount they say I owe if I pay them immediately. I have never solicited their services.Desired Settlement: I would like them to drop any so-called charges and never contact us again.

Review: XCess ad called our Church, collected a recording of one of our secretaries providing confirmation that they are authorized to make purchases for the church and confirming the address of the church. They do not have included on that recording any indication from the secretary that she approved the purchase of goods or services. They then proceeded to put our church name on a website and are now claiming that we owe them $836.92 in charges and penalties. Our church has never purchased online advertising and has never authorized Xcess Ad or any other company to include our name in an online business directory. Representatives of the company are rude to our staff when calling and threaten collection and legal proceedings when they have no legal claim against our church.Desired Settlement: That XCess Ad stop contacting the church by any means. That includes phone, fax, email or any other means.

Review: This company has billed us for an advertisement on our behalf which we never signed up for nor agreed to. This is the first we have heard of XcessAd and we believe it may be a fraudulent business.Desired Settlement: I asked for backup information regarding our billing and received none. I would like to know who signed up for the services and see a signed agreement of some type.

Review: I was contacted by a salesman from Xcess Ad and he tried to sell me online advertising. The only question I answered "yes" to was that I had authorization to make decisions for my business. I told him I was not interested. He called back and said his tape had malfunctioned and asked me again and I again said I was not interested. No information was exchanged and no prices. About 2 months later I receive a call from [redacted] from Xcess Ad (Which I did not know even how to spell) wanting payment for online advertising. I find out my business is on their website and she is telling me I owe I believe $795. I told her I did not agree to this service. She called back with a tape of a woman asking me if a agree to their online advertising(it was very hard to understand)with a pause between question and answer and my voice only saying "yes" . It sounded dubbed to me. It was confusing knowing I had only talked to a male representative. I have no use for this service and I have had other calls from [redacted] demanding payment to the point of harassment. I checked online and my business is on their website and the name of the town is misspelled. I tried emailing the support email address and it failed. I do not wish to talk to [redacted] or anyone else there that could manipulate my voice. I want my business off of the website and no further contact with that business.Desired Settlement: I want my business removed from their website. I owe nothing and I want proof they will not come after me for payment again.

Review: On May 14 2014 a gentleman call me from Xcess Ad. He was calling to inform me of an invoice we had in the amount of $789.55. I told the gentleman that I had never heard of this company, and we have never ordered any type of advertising service from them. They didn't even have the correct name of our hospital that they were trying to bill us for 'advertising' I asked him who ordered this service, and he could not tell. I asked him to send me an invoice so I could review it, not agreeing to the invoice. I wanted to see a copy of this. On [redacted] 10 2014 after receiving several phone calls from this company regarding this invoice, I spoke with [redacted] at their office. I let her know that we have never asked for or ordered any advertising from their company and would not be paying this invoice. Then [redacted] played audio recording from the phone call I had with the gentleman on May 14, of which did not have the entire conversation recorded. The only recorded portion was me verifying the address after I had asked to see the invoice. She stated that this was verbal authorization for the services. This company is running a completely unethical business.Desired Settlement: This company needs to obviously disregard the invoice they are trying to get us to pay for services we did not ask for or authorize. Above that if possible they need to be stopped from doing this to other businesses.

Review: We received a call on behalf of a client; this company only asked to confirm person on the phones name, business name and address. A few weeks later we received a call from [redacted] who was very upset that the bill wasn't paid. She then played an audio tape of the original conversation where their company rep clearly explained who they were and the advertising contract then INSERTED the answers "yes" which were the answers to address and business name confirmations.

Again a call from [redacted] threatening legal action. On 6/20/13 she called our client and demanded payment. when turned away she had an Attorney call from [redacted]. His name was [redacted]. When attempting to return attorneys call there is only a busy signal.

Review: I was told that I owed $789.55 and that I didn't understand what the bill was for. I said I insisted on seeing a paper invoice for what this bill was about. They recorded that response as a confirmation of me agreeing to these Internet services. They of course did not record any of the conversation beforehand me stating that I was unclear what these billings or for. Now they are saying that I agreed to $789.55 of services that I did not agree toDesired Settlement: I would like for this to be dropped as I did not give my consent to add this but yet I wanted an invoice because I didn't understand what they were trying to bill me for

Review: WE RECEIVED A PHONE CALL TELLING US THAT WE OWE THIS CO. MONEY FOR THEIR SERVICES. THEY PLAYED A RECORDING TO US OF AN EMPLOYEE AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE. WE NEVER HEARD OF THIS COMPANY NOR WOULD WE DO BUSINESS OVER THE PHONE WITH SUCH A COMPANY. THE EMPLOYEE THAT THEY SAID THEY RECORDED DID NOT HAVE ANY AUTHORITY TO PURCHASE OR GRANT PERMISSION OF ANY TRANSACTION.THIS IS A TOTAL SCAM.Desired Settlement: WE WANT PROOF THAT THERE IS NO OUTSTANDING INVOICES IN OUR NAME.

Review: This company xcessad called our property asking general questions and records the conversation using the word yes as the answer for everything. Our company does not do verbal contract. We have refused to paid this bill that they sent for $789.55.Desired Settlement: We would like for this company to stop sending bills to not only the property but also our corporate office. This is not a bill that our company owes. If you look our property up the ad has nothing but the property name, address and phone #.
