Bike was mistreated, left out side, and do the the negligence of x-cycle it was dropped the gas tank needs to be repaired along with other items.I dropped my bike off at x-cycle repair after waiting three months for the work requested to be completed I went to get my bike. I got to x-cycle and was then Informed my bike was left in the rain, and fell over. Then I was told this was my fault however they had fixed it anyways. Upon looking the bike over the gas tank has a crack underneath the repair (if you want to call it that), there is rust every where, the clutch lever is bent the left side of the bike has multiple scratches, basically every square inch of the motorcycle has corrosion on it, and some how the radiator over flow was broken. When I asked the gentleman showing the bike to me what is this he said we can paint the whole bike but you'll have to pay for that something about some additive I don't understand how I am responsible for them damaging my motorcycle and then half-assed repairing the damage done not to mention they treated my property as if it was an unwanted grille and left it out side for three months!Desired SettlementI want to bike to look like it did when I took it to there.Business Response Customer Mr.[redacted] dropped his motorcycle off on 6/19/2015 for a rear tire change, valve inspection, and oil change. Customer was informed that the tire would need to be ordered. Customer was also informed all loading/unloading including placement of motorcycle when delivered is at the customers responsibility. Customer parked motorcycle on uneven ground in grass and with rain the bikes kickstand sank into the grass causing the bike to fall over and gas to leak from the gas tank which removed the paint from the gas tank which was noted at the time X Cycle Repair found the bike that the paint was not the correct paint for a motorcycle gas tank and lead to the result of the paint falling off. X Cycle Repair Inc. completed all requested service to Mr.[redacted]'s motorcycle as well as repairing the part of the gas tank that was damaged and did the job with the correct paint and additives for protection. This was done at no cost to the customer as a curtsy. Customer was informed at pick up what happen and our gesture to repair at no cost. Customer was also informed he could have the complete gas tank repainted by X Cycle Repair Inc properly to avoid any future happenings at a reasonable price, customer declined. Customer filed complaint with Revdex.com with implication of negligence. At no time was the customers unit ever neglected by X Cycle Repair Inc, but rather it was treated at an above average by X Cycle Repair Inc repairing damage as a result of the customer choice to park his motorcycle on the grass and uneven ground. We feel this complaint is not justified to be against us and hereby ask Revdex.com to dismiss this case in X Cycle Repairs favor based on these facts.

Complaint12 Aug 2014 I dropped my 4 wheeler off. On 20 Sept 2014 I paid $500.00 to start the repair. Three months later it is still not complete. On 12 Aug 2014 I dropped my [redacted] 4 wheeler off to be repaired. I was then told that it would be 5 days before he could look at it and then he would give me a call back. I told him that was fine and that I didn't need it until 13 Sept 14. Come 13 Sept 14 I called back after not hearing from them and I was told he had not had a chance to look at my 4 wheeler. I was then contacted on 20 Sept 14 and told I needed to bring him $500.00 before he would order the parts needed to repair my 4 wheeler. On 23 Sept 2014 I paid the $500.00 and again waited for a phone call. When I still didn't receive anything back I made numerous calls where I was given a different excuse every time. Some examples were : jobs that I could get done quicker came, it was too hot to work, I had family issues, they sent the wrong parts. All the while we are talking about a 3 month process where I have yet to been contacted from them except when they wanted me to bring them money. Today they still have my 4 wheeler and every time I call I get told it will be ready the next day. Desired SettlementI believe that these practices are absolutely deceptive in nature to get the money and all the while put off the job when it is something that should have been completed in a matter of 2 weeks. I request that the business refund me for total amount of labor they have charged me thus far while I will allow them to keep the money they charged me for parts. This total is $462.15.Business Response Mr. [redacted] dropped off his ATV on the 12th of August 2014. Customer signed the estimate to have the engine inspected and disassembled due to excessive smoke from exhaust. Customer showed agreement upon signing with X Cycle Repair Inc. policies and procedures. Mr. [redacted] was also informed that all new work to be performed would be started on after 5 business days had passed due to back log of work. Our business days run from Tuesday to Saturday and in-depth repairs are conducted Tues.-Fri. X Cycle Repair completed the engine inspection and tear down Later then planned due to jobs scheduled prior to customer dropping off ATV did not go as smoothly and caused a longer backlog. X Cycle Repair Inc. Operates as a small single owner repair shop with one mechanic which Mr. [redacted] was well advised off and aware. Once disassembled X Cycle Repair, on the 20th of September 2014 attempted to contacted customer with estimated cost of repair and request of parts deposit for all special ordered parts per the companies policy. First attempt no answer and Mr. [redacted]s voice mail was not set up. Mr. [redacted] called back the following day at which time he was informed of the required deposit. Deposit was recorded on the 23rd of September 2014 in the amount of $500.00. Parts where ordered from [redacted] the 24th of September. September 26th X Cycle Repair received a notice from [redacted] that a gasket set was on back order with no release date. Customer was advised per our polices and procedures that parts take 7-10 business days to arrive under normal circumstances, and anytime back ordered items arise it prolongs receiving of parts. October 30th 2014 X cycle Repair Inc received all parts for Mr. [redacted]s ATV. With all parts received X Cycle Repair started to work Mr. [redacted]s ATV back into the schedule of repairs to complete now that all parts where received. On the 4th of November Mr. [redacted] called X Cycle Repair and spoke with our receptionist (Owners Wife) at which time he, Mr. [redacted], stated the following, "My atv has been there for three months and I am tired of waiting and hearing excuses, I am coming tomorrow at 11:00am to pick it up and it better be f___ing ready or you can eat sh-t your not getting anymore money." then hung up! X Cycle Repair stayed up until 11pm to complete the engine rebuild. At 11am the 5th of November 2014 Mr. [redacted] arrived at X Cycle Repair to pick up his ATV at which time the engine was rebuilt but the ATV did not what to idle properly. Prior to the ATV being brought to X Cycle Repair Mr. [redacted] had installed a new carburetor himself. After performing a diagnostic to the ATV X Cycle Repair found foreign objects not removed from the throttle housing in the carburetor causing the idle condition/problem. At that time X Cycle Repair fixed the improperly install carburetor and Mr. [redacted] was handed the part he had left in the carburetor. Mr. [redacted] was giving a complementary discount for his military status and was not charged any additional fee for his mistake on the carburetor installation that X Cycle Repair corrected. Mr. [redacted] paid his remaining amount of $388.68 and took his ATV with him. X Cycle Repair Inc has requested and informed Mr. [redacted] to not come back due to his vulgarity and poor attitude. X Cycle Repair will not be refunding any cash to Mr. [redacted] as the job requested was completed, as well as additional uncharged labor was performed on his carburetor free of cost.
