Review: I called Whittings to order 100 gallons of #2 fuel oil October 18th, 2013 at 12:30 pm. When I called I spoke with a man that said his name was [redacted]. I asked for the fuel oil to be ordered, and all he asked was for my name, which I gave readily. Then all he was "OK, it is on order, good by". I immediately and asked him before he hung up, if he needed my acct#, which has always been taken each time I have ordered fuel oil for the past many years. He snorted and scoffed saying that "you said that you had an acct, I am sure that information is here somewhere! I was appalled & couldn't believe I was being talked to and treated so badly. Then I asked him when it would be delivered, since he didn't offer that information to me earlier, and he told me "sometime next week" then quickly hung up before I could say anything else. HE WOULDN'T EVEN TELL ME HOW MUCH IT WOULD BE!! I cannot believe this from a business that expects repeat customers!! It will get below freezing this weekend, and I have always been asked if it was an emergency or not. Something needs to be done about this. I called their headquarters in Roanoke and told them about it, I am waiting for a response.Desired Settlement: The public needs to know about how they treat their customers. This is an outrage that anyone in our community should ever be treated like this!!

I have tried to contact the customer by leaving a voice mail with my return number. Upon further investigation I have found that the customer was upset with our policy of a 100 gallon minimum delivery. She had requested a 50 gallon delivery.
