Review: Wei did a terrible job on my haircolor and ruined my hair. I had to go to another salon for correction, and this cost over $ 200 and that salon said I was lucky that my hair did not break off! I asked for a refund from [redacted] @ salon w, and finally she gave me a refund ck for half the chg. (ck was for $125)She marked the ck "refund for color, pd in full" and I cashed it about 2 was ago. Today I learned she placed a stop payment on her ck to me, and my checking acct was debited for $ 125' essentially canceling the refund. I feel this is very dishonest of her...she is a terrible hairdresser and has bad business practices as well. what a nightmare experience!Desired Settlement: I would like the $125 refund we agreed upon , in cash this time. She is a dishonest person.

On August 27th, 2014, the complainer (customer) came to my salon for hair coloring service. She selected her desired color and was satisfied with the result of coloring service. However, after hair color, the customer requested for a Keratin smoothing treatment at the same appointment. Against my advice (after explaining to the customer the possibility of the different chemicals in coloring agents and Keratin treatment may react to the hair color), the customer insisted on getting the Keratin treatment done.

Sure enough, the Keratin treatment stripped the original hair color. The customer was unhappy seeing the outcome, insisted on a wash out. I told the customer it would be against the product warranty to wash hair immediately after the Keratin treatment. The customer would not comply, even after offering her a recolor in a couple of weeks.

It was an accounting error on my part to place a stop payment on the refund check that I gave to the customer. However, the customer's settlement was paid in cash on September 12th in the amount of $125, as it was agreed upon.

I have been a stylist for over 10 years, and have never dealt with a customer that didn't want to comply, especially related to hair chemicals! As a result the custoer chose to damage her own hair, ad wasted my six hours of work time.
